This is one of my favorite places in Auburn to dine in for a pizza. Their pizzas are pretty darn good. They have a bunch of combinations to choose from or you can customize. Plus they have other menu items… appetizers, salads. And they have a lunch specials are pretty good bargains. Lunch specials are offered everyday from 11am-4pm. A slice is $3.50-$4.50. Add a fountain drink for $3.25. A slice, fountain drink, and a side salad is $11.50-$12.50. Slice choices are cheese, pepperoni, or special of the day. Another lunch special is two sliders and side salad $11. Slider choices are pulled pork and meatball.
I have had whole pizzas and slices here. Both are great. Nicely baked crust. Great tasting pizza sauce. Fresh tasting toppings, generously served. The meatball slider was good. The pulled pork slider was fantastic, big flavors. However the green salad that comes with the lunch special is iceberg and romaine. Sometimes they the inner hard core of the lettuces are served. The last two times, the salad had several core chunks at the bottom half of the bowl.
The restaurant space is beautiful. Modern design. Spacious. TV screen throughout. They have a 2nd floor outdoor bar and seating area. The beer and wine menu is huge. They have their own parking lot with...
Read moreLove OTP... hate that they changed the pizza names in Auburn to match the other locations. Auburn was the original place. The train names are dumb. I've always had Doc's Chicken and not its Choo Choo Chicken.. what am I a 2 year old now. The names are insulting couldn't you have merged them? Some original names some new names? Our entire dinner party was disappointed at this change, and it will affect us visiting in the future. We are not ordering from a kids' menu. Pick new names with local votes but to just disregard all the original location loyal customers and change names is not just disrespectful to all your longest time fans, but it doesn't even fit auburn anymore. Hope you Choo Choo Choose better in the future. Merging names would have been better than just the full replacement without considering the original location town themes. Mining and trains could have gone together but just changing everything to a train theme makes me think you're just like Fry's... might as well get a train busting through the wall like they had. Clearly, that theme saved them... not. Also parking is horrible which adds to why it will be easy to avoid this now that Auburn is being...
Read moreI've eaten at two of the Old Town Pizza parlors and had delivery to my house several times. The delivery drivers bring extra condiments, in case you need more. Plus, they are super nice. If you live within a couple of miles of the pizza place, they offer free delivery. My only recommendation is, offer new specialty pizzas or a weekly chefs special. The bread sticks are amazing. I always buy the large and eat a few of them, before eating the pizza. Update on new location: This is the perfect date spot to enjoy a craft beer on the rooftop. Or grab a seat in the lower, air conditioned bar area; located to the right of the entrance. The rooftop dining area includes a retractable roof, service bar and seating for 84 people. OTP offers a great selection of craft beer on tap and the best pizza in Auburn. They have perfected the art of a molten lava of melted cheese with an array of fresh toppings on a pizza crust that is chewy, crispy and soft all in one mouthful. The customer service is fantastic. All of the employees were friendly and happy to help, to ensure you have the best dining experience possible. IG:...
