This is usually the place I sing high praises for, not today. You are a yummy place to go eat at but this isn’t a review of a good experience no, I am actually writing this review on behalf of my sister and family who came to visit me last Sunday. They all drove an hour from Seattle to grab a mini box of donuts to share at my family gathering and was treated very poorly by some fellow worker. I would say, your doughnuts are tasty, but the lack of customer service is a big deal to me, especially if it’s mistreatment of anyone from my family or someone dear to me. I would maybe settle on phone call of apology to my sister for being treated so poorly and maybe offer her a free doughnut the next time she’s in town. It’s sad to me because I really want to love this place my kids and I love the sprinkled doughnuts here. I will find out who was working on Sunday, 3/30 around 3. I hope you can make this right because both my sister and I do know a lot ppl through various places and word does travels fast!!! I won’t be giving you my business anytime soon until this ordeal is settled and...
Read moreUpdate: The owner or manager sent me free doughnut coupons in response. Thank you! When I went in today to redeem them, I was told I could only use one at a time. Why? Even if this is the policy it would be helpful to know this before I go in. Also, why send several coupons if I can only use one at a time? I can certainly buy more than one doughnut at a time. You all can certainly make mistakes involving multiple doughnuts so why not redeem apology coupons in multiples? I asked how fresh the coffee was and got a blank stare followed up with, "it's kept in those things" as she pointed to the carafe. So No. I'm done with this location. I describe the service as being present.
Doughnuts are great! Staff is not intelligent. Often flummoxed by making change. Today I got 4 doughnuts, 2 legendary and 2 amateur. They tried to charge me for 5 doughnuts. Then he 'fixed' it by charging me for 4 legendary. Still got it wrong! 2 amature & 2 legendary. This happens EVERY TIME! It's just not...
Read moreMy husband and I went to Legendary Doughnuts in Covington yesterday at 2:43 p.m. We ordered a maple bar and some boozy balls. When we paid for the order, the girl helping us told us their store does not accept cash because of thefts and that we could use a credit card which I did. She neglected to inform me that there is a surcharge of 3.5% for using a credit card. I did not know that until after we left. I was really shocked and furious about that. Since I was not informed before using the card, I was not given the option whether to buy or not. Also, I did not have the option to pay cash which I wanted to in the first place. This is unethical not to allow cash and only accept credit cards where a surcharge/penalty is incurred on the customer. Plus the maple bar was dry and not very good. Not a good way to...
