I enjoy Mod pizza in general, but I will be avoiding this location going forward.
My wife and I placed an order through the Mod Pizza website tonight. It was not a complicated order. 3 items total. A pizza (for my wife), a Mod dinner salad (for me), and some cheesy bread to share.
The delivery took nearly an hour. Fine. No issue. We expected to wait a bit for our food. But when the order arrived after almost an hour, my dinner salad was missing. How was that missed? Where's the quality control? It's a 3 item order.
I called the store to report the issue. It took three phone calls to actually get through to a person. The first call seemed like we got hung up on. The second call went to voicemail.
When we finally spoke to a store employee on the third call, she didn't seem to care. She offered a refund, which is the bare minimum since we literally did not receive the item we paid for. But she offered basically nothing to compensate for the fact that we had been waiting for the past hour, relying on Mod Pizza, to provide a dinner that never came. After multiple efforts to explain this issue, the store employee finally offered 50 store points of some type, capable of being refunded for a "noname cake or free beverage." This obviously does NOT compensate for the inconvenience caused.
I was told I could report this issue to corporate through an email address. Why would I expect that to help? When I said I would post a review instead, the store employee immediately hung up on me. Not exactly the best customer service I've ever encountered.
After getting off the phone, my wife checked her pizza. It was missing several toppings.

Read moreThe woman that was making our pizzas kept going back and forth when asking for toppings between my another persons pizza and mine. NEITHER pizza had very much of the items we asked for, she kept saying "what do you want on the first pizza, what do you want on the second pizza" talk about confusion. It wasn't busy and she never gave me the anchovies I asked about when we first went up to order. She just said that the anchovies weren't out yet. She didn't even bother to get them out. We both felt very rushed, couldn't even figure out all the toppings as there wasn't any labels on any of the items. Perhaps ordering could go smoother if they added labels to the toppings (as most other Mod Pizza stores do) so the customers can make an intelligent topping choice. Pizza is a treat for me once in a while and I like being able to choose my toppings. To add to our confusion, the woman taking our orders chose to allow a woman whose child's dirty shoes were not only on the counter but OVER the sneeze guard to continue doing so without the common sense to ask the woman to get her child off the counter. We didn't leave the woman a tip (we are usually able to leave tips for great service) HOWEVER, the young man that was cutting up our pizza was very kind and attentive. HE deserves a raise! We will try this store again, but we will ask then to provide us with the courtesy of being able to order our pizzas one at a time, as...
Read moreI ordered pizza for delivery in N. Auburn. It said it would take about 20 to 30 mins for delivery. After 45mins the status showed that the driver is there to pick up and stayed that way for another 10 mins. The order was $24 and the tip to the driver was $6. Travel distance was only 3 mins away. I was trying to be lazy that day. I called the restaurant to check on the order, they said the pizza was there still and no driver. I told them to cancel the order and I will go get the pizza. The manager said that she will give me the order for free because it took too long for the delivery. I went to the restaurants and talked with the manager I told her that I will pay for the order I just want the pizza made fresh. It took literally 25 minutes to remake the pizza because the people kept getting the order confused on 2 pizzas. It wasn't even busy in the restaurant. They kept offering me items for free I told them I just want the pizza and that's it. Her final words were it's for free and do you want the other pizzas? I told her to give it to anybody who is need of food. The issue that I have is that not only did they charge me for those pizzas which is fine but they charge me the $6 tip on top of that. So they just got paid an extra $6 for me to go pick up my own pizza. Worst 1st experience with Mod pizza don't think I will ever order...
