Taco Time NW — Restaurant in Auburn

Compared to other Taco Times in the area we have frequently been disappointed. More than once have ordered taco salad and it’s under filled. Mostly lack of lettuce. Just not well out together. Also a disappointing natural soft taco where the beans were all on one end and again just not well out together like we have found at other Taco Times. Husband spoke to manager and he said let him know on next trip. But that didn’t work either. We love the convenience of this one in Lakeland Hills. But they need to step up their quality care to match the other restaurants. Maybe retrain employees on putting ingredients together.

Update 5/8/24 Well, they haven't improved. Went there about 3 weeks ago and ordered the Veggie soft taco and was given a bean burrito. Didn't know it until I got home. Went there tonight to try again. Ordered the same, and technically did get the Veggie Soft Taco, but it was about 80% beans and very few veggies. Super disappointing. I even emphasized to them they got it wrong last time and it was very poorly made. Wrapper was barely on it, it wasn't rolled up well. Just a very bad job. So given my the bad history with this particular store, I will not be returning. I'll drive farther to one I know...

Weird I asked for something else to drink cause the drink i I had tasted weird, had too much carbonation or something. The female reacted oddly, she wanted the drink back, I said sure no problem, I don't like the way it taste, then she began to give a reason for why she asked, cause I said you guys normally tells us that we have to throw it away and you can't take anything back cause it's covid. Even when you ask for refills they will give you a whole new cup, saying it's a health concern, which is fine. I also don't like that she took it and didn't throw it away immediately she sat it down on the counter by other items.

Felt very odd I come here too often and the reasons didn't add up, she said we do that with any items that have a quality concern if that's true it was the first time, but like I told her I don't want to keep something that don't...

Ordered online. Meal arrived. We were missing one meal. So one didn't get dinner. The sprite had no syrup, so two had only carbonated nasty water to drink. The only real reason we loved taco time was for the hot sauce, and we ordered three and got zero, rendering the 2 meals we got literally inedible to us! It's really not hard to put the whole complete order in the bag. The best part, though, is when you call the restaurant, no one answers. Your only option is to leave a message. We live 11 hours away and always hit taco time NW when we come to town. Thank you for completely ruining our meal, then ignoring the phone! It's just not that hard to do a job well.
