Order a pitcher of cheap beer with a couple of friends on a weekday afternoon (2pm?) and grab a table discreetly inside or (who cares) enjoy the patio. THAT is the vibe of this corner on the edge of the Auburn University Campus with Jordan Hare Stadium towering a couple of blocks down the street. Grab another pitcher or two and text a few more friends and let them know that you’re kicking back for the afternoon at Momma G’s and you’re buying the (cheap) beer so come hang. While the world around you is charging through their weekday you and those lucky enough to join you are CHILLING. This is the place for just this kind of afternoon. Now I usually get a Momma’s Love or Turkey and Swiss and nachos (which I find to be kind of a joke but maybe that is the point) and enjoy the uniqueness. Hot from the steamer comfort, ice cold beer and good friends. YOU are gaming the system and it is glorious! It doesn’t matter if you’re with your family on Gameday, grabbing a quick lunch during work, getting sandwiches for a picnic or wedding party or graduation celebration, the vibe you’ll cherish is of a chill afternoon with friends and no cares whatsoever. That feeling will now overcome you every time you visit and order a Momma’s love, nachos and a Coke so enjoy my memories or make your...

The people at this location obviously haven’t worked in a restaurant in their life. They have no idea who ordered what. The incompetent woman taking our food order passed it off to the cook who very obviously couldn’t take more than 1 food order at a time without having his brain explode. When then cook questioned a food ordered, I stood up to try to help him figure out who it belonged to, when I was rudely told to sit down and that he will call my whole order at one time. Obviously, this cook couldn’t tell the difference between and ham and turkey sandwich. You have a business in a college town. Might be good to hire people who have a college education.oh. Let me add. I ordered nachos for dine in and a sandwich and nachos for my friend for take out... they sat both nachos and the sandwich in a corner until I had waited long enough to be so impatient to ask for them. They gladly gave both...

HORRIBLE workers. I used to love Momma G's, but recently they have gone incredibly downhill. Last time I went there was way way too much sauce on my sandwich and they didn't take the wrapping off the meat. I was very dissapointed but thought it was a fluke. Now the most recent time I went, not only did they forget to take the wrapping off the meat again, but the sweet tea was off, and the jalapeno slices on my nachos were old and nasty. Also, everything was terribly soggy including the nachos which turned into some sort of mush. This Momma G's has turned to garbage and not only is it the worst sandwich place in town now, but it is also more expensive than other options. I will not...

Momma Goldberg's Deli in Downtown Auburn, AL was great. I accidentally placed my online order for the wrong store but they made my food anyway after showing my receipt. I was very thankful for this and left a $5 tip. That level of customer service is unheard of these days. My special order sandwich, pepperoni, salami, and pastrami on sourdough with cheese, mustard, and mayo was absolutely amazing. The open air bar right on the street was great and the bartender was very sociable and helped me find the right beer. I highly recommend this place if you're in Auburn. #MommaGoldbergs #JordanHareStadium #Auburn #StreetPhotography #LongExposure #WarEagleWay

I got a custom sandwich which was grilled chicken, sesame ginger, sesame bun, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion and jalapeño, and needless to say; I think they should add it to the menu. The sandwich was great and I’d love to come back for more. The salad was decent but could use some work on the freshness, the vinaigrette sauce was also pretty good. Only reason I’m not giving 5/5 is cause of the salad, everything else was good and I would recommend trying the entire menu, I see a lot of complaints about the staff, but the days I go, everyone is friendly and attentive.

Will not be coming here again. My order was dine in. I stood at the counter while people who came in after me names were called yet no one inquired about my order. I finally had to ask where my order was only to see they never looked at the dine in area. The sandwiches, which were Reuben’s, had so little meat that the two pieces of bread didn’t separate and there was almost no mustard or 1000 islander See photos. Cost too high for the portion. I would have been better off going to Publix. Next time I will. Don’t waste your hard earned cash!!
