First time visiting in about five years. We came because I saw that they have vegetarian options. We both ordered the fried pickles and Mushroom and Swiss Burger. The fried pickles were good, although it doesn't come with enough dip. It was a $2.25 upcharge for a beyond patty and a $1 upcharge for peppers and onions. It seemed like nothing was seasoned and the bun wasn't really toasted. It was a lot of bread. We had to add salt and pepper and the Mexicali dip that came with our chips to make it less bland. I'm sure this place is great for people who eat meat. I've had beyond burgers at other restaurants and they were delicious, so I don't think that is the issue here. Other than the food, the service was good. The restaurant is usually crowded, but we expected that going in. We didn't have to wait long to be seated. Everyone was very nice. Overall, not worth the price. Feels bad leaving a negative review, but it really wasn't a $50 experience for us.

It was our first visit to this place on a Thrusday night and though my friends have been here before but they were surprised to see the crowd as they didn't expect so many people as during their earlier visits there weren't many people around. It maybe because of their thrusday night offer from 7pm-10pm burgers and a side at $6.99. We ordered some from veg burger options and some non veg. The service was good and the portion of the sides as well as burger was amazing as it surprised us all when it arrived as we were planning to ordered another one depending on the proportion of the first one. But due to the heavy foot traffic there was too much delay in getting our food so that's understandable but we were hungry, so one star less for it. Rest it was amazing evening do try fish bowl it seem to be interesting drink but as I was driving that night so I had to avoid it.

My family and I stopped by Niffers for a quick bite for lunch before we ran our errands for the afternoon. However, the "quick" part of our lunch did not happen today. I am never disappointed with what comes out of the kitchen at Niffers, it's always fresh, hot, and delicious. Having to wait 30-45mins to get my burger here is rarely ever the case. I am hoping this was just a fluke, but I also overheard the tables around us complaining about their wait times as well. The wait staff rarely came around leaving us waiting for drink refills as well, and I'm pretty sure I saw the manager (maybe) checking to see if everything was ok more than the staff. I'm not saying I'll stop going here or anything, but maybe a staff meeting or something to get everyone on the same page. Props to the kitchen though, when I got my burger it was awesome!

Niffers is a great place to eat in Auburn. We remember eating there with our girls when it opened in 1991. The atmosphere is really great in a true college town. Today, Reese did a fantastic job taking care of us. He took our drink order and had it on the table in a few minutes. He gave us time to look over the menu, which has many choices. My wife had the Albuquerque wrap, which she said was very good. It came with a side order, and she chose fries. I had the Orange and Blue burger. I ordered medium well, but it was well done. The burger consists of a nice size hamburger patty, strips of bacon, blue cheese chunks, crispy onions, and Chipotle sauce. It also comes with fries. It was very good and a good value for under $12. There are a number of other burgers that we enjoy of the burger. (Chipotle Burger, Pearl Burger, Firetruck Burger)

A business colleague and I went on a Saturday and seeing such a long wait ahead of me, opted for the bar seating. Super cold AC blasts to the face at the bar...so if you arw sensitive to AC air, I would avoid the bar seating. Food was good but waitress did not tend to us much. She did not as me for a refill of my drink. Overall, good burgers and fries were excellent-tasting as well. At the Niffers in Opelika(which is now closed, sadly), we were given huge baskets of fries as a side with the burgers. Fries were included on the burger plate and were definitely less in amount. We opted for double patties for both of our burgers and the burgers were slightly dry? Spent around $50(including tips) for two burgers and some fries. The burgers did have good charcoal taste, though.

Niffer's has a reputation for Auburn's best burgers, and it's not without good reason. The burgers are amazing, the service is friendly and efficient, and the cost is beyond reasonable. The fried pickle (spears) are a must, and I haven't tried a burger that wasn't 4 +⭐. The Nashville tacos are also a solid choice if you aren't feeling a burger. It's worth noting that there are no draft beer options here, but, despite that, they have a decent beer selection in both bottles and cans and will bring in a chilled glass upon request. Overall, this is a local favorite of which we will continue to be repeat customers! It's an outstanding value-great food, drink, and atmosphere for an amazing price!
