We ordered here through DoorDash as they had a pretty good deal going on and my mom offered to buy us food since she injured herself and we were taking care of her. My mom got the spicy chicken teriyaki, my boyfriend got the chicken breast teriyaki and I got the regular chicken teriyaki. Food didn't take too long to receive and it was still hot despite coming all the way from Auburn.

Their salad is different from the typical salads from teriyaki places as it is more traditionally Korean style salads as it consists mostly of cabbages with other slices of vegetables with a creamy sauce. The sauce is also not the traditionally one you get from teriyaki places but it is in my opinion way better. It had a good tangy taste with familiar tastes other teriyaki places and fit well with the rest of the salad. As a Korean, I prefer this salad as I hate getting salads from other teriyaki places and seeing wilted or old vegetables with my salad as it makes it not appetizing or makes you question if you should even eat it. I saw no issues with my salad. My mom asked for no burnt ends on her teriyaki and they seem to have done a decent job at doing so, but definitely could be better. I didn't ask for it but my teriyaki wasn't too bad, so I don't think I need to make it a note. They also are extremely generous with the portions as there was just meat rather than topping the meats on more rice which I appreciate. The teriyaki was good, not too sweet or flavorless and sticking well on the meats. I appreciate that they give you a sauce of teriyaki with each teriyaki order, including the spicy version. Definitely want to try out their Korean bowls which seem like a good variety of food for a...

I have been coming to this place for years, and we ate here a few times per month, but I have to say I will NEVER go back here.

This place has new owners who are very rude, and what I normally ordered for 2 people I usually paid $20.00 this time it cost close to $25.00. When I asked why so much they couldn't tell me and were down right rude. The food isn't nearly as good as it use to be , and the chicken tasted rubbery almost like it was pre cooked frozen. I ordered 2 teriyaki chickens spicy for $8.59 and they charge $.50 per order for spicey so tell me how that comes to almost $25.00 I let the new owners know that I was disappointed in the service and the prices and that I would NOT be coming back, they both just laughed. its a shame because the last owners were so nice and friendly these 2 are not ( male and female) . There are plenty of other Teriyaki places in Auburn to eat and I will give them my business. If this is how they treat customers and over charge for food now, I wont be sad if they went out of business for bad customer service, and inflated prices. Who really laughs at a customer and finds humor when a paying...

Update (6yrs later…): heard they changed ownership, decided to do take out. Got chicken teriyaki, disappointed. Chicken isn’t great, rice is not great at all, salad is mainly shredded cabbage with some chunks of lettuce and a few shredded carrots. Sauce is so runny, like flavored water. Will not be back.

My husband works near by and has been a regular for over 8 years. The lady was always very nice to him and his co workers since they’d come in so often. One day, he decided to take me here when I came to have lunch with him. So we walk in, sit down, she comes over and takes our orders. Nothing to rave about, just regular service. Once she brings the food out, she looks at my husband (fiancé at that time) and asks: is this your girlfriend? He says, yeah fiancé. She looks at me then back at him (he’s Chinese and I’m White) and goes “you wait, don’t get marry yet. Wait a couple of years, your eyes will open and you’ll Change your mind..” right in front of me!!!!! We have never gone back since! Not going to support business owners...

The hostess was very friendly and the food was quickly prepared and served. It was hot and fresh, and the fried rice was delicious. The General Tso chicken was just alright. It was very salty and had no heat, desperate being market as "spicy" on the menu. The price was also too high - a weekday lunch entrée with rice and a soda ran well over $20. Their soda options are limited to Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Root Beer, and Orange Fanta. The environment is very spacious and clean, with a warm and well-lit atmosphere.

My family and I ate here the other night for dinner for the first time and really liked it. We ordered the spicy chicken katsu, combination fried rice, and combination yakisoba. All of them were tasty, quick to come out, and had huge portion sizes. The hostess was very friendly and we were satisfied with our meals. The restaurant was also very clean and well kept. We’ll be back!
