Soho Teriyaki — Restaurant in Auburn

Food is good but the service is terrible. The man at the register was very rude from the beginning. No side salad available, no substituting chicken breast for thigh....ok...no problem I said. Bet then, he grabbed the cash out of my hand, shorted me on my change, and after he literally threw my order on the counter, he pounded his hand very hard on the counter. Apparently his way of saying my order was ready. After I picked up my order, I told him that he should have told me what the total was so I knew what change to expect and I walked out. He then proceeded to follow me to my car to tell me that it was '.36' cents....his wife quickly followed to tell him to get back inside but he still wanted to make his point. As soon as we walked through the door this place was unpleasant with a dreary atmosphere. The couple was rude and short with us when we ordered. They do not offer salad but instead bland cabbage. When we ordered sweet and sour chicken, we were handed chicken gizzards dressed to look like traditional sweet and sour chicken. My boyfriend is from FL and is very aware of what gizzards look and taste like, actually when they are prepared correctly he loves gizzards. But when he mentioned it to them, they became defensive and lied and said it was "chicken thigh." We did not ask for a refund but walked away from full plates with empty stomachs. The hot and spicy chicken is really the only reason to come here. Everytime I order the owners are rude consistently. Today I came in and asked for a hot and spicy chicken because according to the sign that's what they call their spicy chicken. And he said okay spicy chicken and I just agreeing said yes hot and spicy chicken and the owner rudely came back with yes yes their all the same spicy chicken, hot, spicy. It means the same thing.
