Barberitos — Restaurant in Auburn

I would like to take a moment to highlight the phenomenal service and food I experienced today at this location. I came in around 4:00-4:30 and was greeted by friendly smiles from two employees who were more than willing to go the extra mile to make this such a fantastic visit. Hudson took and made my order. He made the absolute best burrito bowl I have ever had in my entire life! The absolute precision and attention-to-detail was something you can only dream of when looking for an employee. His friendly customer service skills were absolutely superb and made the visit so special!

Once my burrito bowl was completed, Kaden prepared me a bag of chips and rang me up. He, too, was absolutely incredible! He made sure that I was aware that I could get complementary salsa from the salsa bar. How lucky was I to get such exemplary service from both employees! I was very eager to tip them after the INCREDIBLE service I had!

Once I got home, and ate my meal I couldn't believe how amazing it was. The chips that were fried to the perfect color, the guacamole that was seasoned just right, the spicy chicken that had the perfect amount of flavor, the salsas that were the cherry on top, how can you ask for anything better?

I especially want to give a shout-out to Hudson and Kaden. They were both incredibly friendly and attentive, and they went above and beyond to make sure that I had a great meal. This was my first time ever at a Barberitos and because of them specifically, I will definitely be back to Barberitos again soon and recommend it to all my friends and family. Went to Barberitos for supper tonight. The food prep line was dirty. Ordered the special green Chile burrito and the carnita steak scoped into it was so old and dry it qualified as jerky. The server in the line didn't understand that there was a specialty burrito on offer and I had to point at the picture for awhile until he got it. Then took a few more seconds to figure out that a cheese smothered burrito wasn't going to work in a foil wrapper. The kids working at least were polite, but they didn't know what they were doing. My friend and I just are here and it was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had at a restaurant like this. To start we waited 40 minutes to order, which we were okay with because the restaurant was so busy. The annoying part was that staff moved extremely slow. The two boys working in the back were very nice, but the girl working the register was very rude and short with everyone paying. She continuously rolled her eyes at customers and it made customers feel extremely unwelcome. They were also out of many items and were not on top of trying to get these items cooked.
