Worst experience I’ve ever had, my husband and I placed our first time order online. It said the time it would be ready and to skip the line and pick up your food. No one was in line, so we went straight up to the window. A lady opened the window and said yes. My husband said we had an online order and it was supposed to be ready. She said we were supposed to come inside to pick it up. My husband said ok we didn’t know, we can come in. Then she said we can do it this one time. Then she must have snapped. She slammed the window and started yelling… said there was an online order at the window, and that we were pathetic and too lazy to get out of our car. I blew my horn to get her attention. She opened the window and I asked her why she would even say that about us. I told her we heard every word she said. I told her she didn’t know us and if she wanted us to come in we would have and she had no rights to talk about us or anyone that didn’t know their process. I asked to speak with her manager, another lady came to the window and I said she has no rights to talk about us like that and it was out of line. The lady said she would talk to her. I asked her for the ladies name twice, but wouldn’t give it. She told me she would get my food and closed the window. A man came to the window with our food and I asked him for the ladies name and he was the only one that provided it to me. That was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever dealt with. They have lost my business, I can’t go back to a place where people are treated with such hatred. People don’t treat people like that. Read moreWe've been going to this location for years but recently started using the online ordering feature. We place our order online, then go through the drive thru to pick it up.
Today the lady told us that if we're going to do online orders we have to come inside to pick them up.
I told her this makes no sense and that we've been going through the drive thru for at least a year.
She told us that it holds up other cars in the line and I flat out told her that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard (we only had one car behind us in line)
I told her that if anything, it should SPEED UP the process because we're not sitting at the speaker putting our order in, then waiting in line for it to be made. Everything is already done before we get there.
Then she told us that they get "Too many delivery drivers to deal with it at the drive thru". She then told us that it was on the order completion page online that we have to pick it up inside.
I still had the "order completion" page pulled up and showed it to her. Doesn't say ANYTHING about how to pick up your food. Just a time of when it would be ready (We even gave them extra time before we arrived to pick it up). She then pointed to a small hand-written note taped to the drive-thru window.
Honestly, we probably won't be going back. Long John Silvers has ALWAYS been greasy (even as a kid I remember it being greasy) but somehow it's getting worse. It still tastes decent, but then you're left with a slimy feeling in your mouth which just ruins the rest...

At first I figured it would be like any other drive through experience where I’m inconveniencing the young cashier as I’m forced to make him or her do their job as I wait on my food. I was wrong 100% at this location. It was as if my order was taken and cared for like they treat me at ace hardware! Customer Service was amazing at this location, I was treated as if a brand new proud owner of a restaurant was serving me. It was a usual experience to say the least. The service at this location was friendly and prompt. Although I waited maybe 3 min for my food to be handed to me. The lady in the camo hat in drive thru kept apologizing and I told her it was no problem. In the end I got abundant sauces and great food 5/5 will be back.
@Long John Silvers corporate level: Please promote the drive through person with the camo hat and southern accent to a position way up in leadership over all the stores, so she could teach others how to treat customers in a way they want to return back to your establishments.Because of her service I will go out of my way to skip Wendy’s and McDonald’s for A&W Long John for now on while...
