Was very disappointed with the service yesterday. The lady serving us was rude and rushed us. We were so taken aback. My friend asked to have something written in spanish - the lady replied 'better not to write anything at all'. We handed her our phone with the spanish words - she handed back the phone practically yelling rudely 'I don't want your phone, take it back'. When we tried to pay, she said their line was not working and they could not accept credit cards. We managed to pay cash and had the change rudely handed to us. At one point when we were asking her about the cakes, she was like who do you think I am- I'm the one wearing the apron. Not sure where the rudeness was coming from. I will steer clear of this spot in the future since I prefer my cake buying experiences to...

My friend and I were looking for a bakery open later. We were out shopping and the cashier recommended Desserts by Design. The reviews online were positive and indeed we were lucky to find this bakery. Everything we tried was delicious! Everything was fresh! One of the bakers met us at the counter and they were so friendly and welcoming. The prices are affordable and you will be able to purchase a variety for your money. You can get single pastries or whole cakes. This is definitely going to be on my list when I need to bring a dessert to an event. The buttercream is actually buttercream and not gritty...

Desserts by Design is an absolute gem, with tasty options and reasonable pricing. I’ve visited many times over the last few years and am well on my way to eating my way across their full offering. Notables include the cheesecakes, fruit tarts, key lime pie, chocolate mousse mini cake, chocolate covered pretzels custom chocolate cakes, and cupcake selection.
