Not the first time I've been told long wait here. Unfortunately this time either the worker can't count and/ or is a lier. Customers coming in having to cancel orders because it lied online about wait time, then lied to about only 30 mins more. One lady (Becky)while I waited there just like me was told 30 mins came back and was told another 30 to 40 when she came back. Mind you she said she had 3 kids in the car. I told the guy I was canceling my order after an hour wait because Becky was ahead of me so that meant I was going to have to wait just as long as her. He proceeded to tell me well only 15 to 20 mins. What because Becky canceled? She was 30 or 40 min how did I magically get less?whose he lieing too? Addition I had already waited my 30 more mins he stated and my order wasn't started so who can trust that? There were still 4 more orders in front of mine. Never got offered anything for the trouble just bull apologies. Why bull? Because when I came back after 30 min I sat down and listened to him and his coworker talking about firetrucks going by and about coworkers and with no urgency as they had already had people canceling orders or telling people 30 more mins. Is this all the employees fault? Nope probably manager and at this point owners fault. Also I used an emergency pizza and I was ordering $25 worth of extra food. Will I get that emergency pizza back? What about the hour I waited for food? Your time is not a concern of this business and this is the last time I'm coming to it. Done! Also to Domino this franchise should not have the franchise anymore because this building can not...
Read moreThe pizza is delicious, affordable, and worth the wait. People shouldn't be upset about waiting in line since you can just place your order in the morning and ask for it to be timed to be ready for you when you want to pick it up for dinner. It's easy. You can order it DAYS ahead of time.
So, if you call during busy hours and expect to cut in line, that's not going to happen, and it's your own fault because other people called first. You do not get special treatment just because you're mad that you're hungry. Just make a timed order for lunch the day before you want it, or make a timed order for your dinner when you're having lunch. It's so easy! Also, If you want it delivered at a specific time, have it timed 30 minutes before you want it just so there's wiggle room if they're slammed, short staffed, bad traffic, etc. That way you won't get hangry.*
*hangry = hungry + angry.
They are open at 10:30 AM! Call ahead!
Even better- use the app and earn free pizzas and other items. I highly recommend the app, just don't believe the estimated time that the app gives you. It is always ambitiously incorrect, but that is something to take up with corporate (you can find their number online or write to them). But it is NOT the staff's fault, so don't take your frustration out on the them. They didn't design the app and have no control over what it tells you.
Just be kind. They make great pizza at a great price, and they're working non-stop. Have some empathy and...
Read moreDecided to go out on a whim and give the Augusta Maine location one more shot in hopes that they might have gotten their act together and yet again they are proving to disappoint. I long since learned if I want my food in a timely manner I need to order from Gardiner and my food will be ready by the time I get there to pick it up. But tonight when I went on the website to order I put in Augusta and it gave me less than 30 minutes for a wait time so I decided to order at the Augusta Location. I’m now sitting in my vehicle an hour after I ordered waiting on food because this location just can’t keep up with the amount of business it gets and it isn’t giving it’s customers accurate wait time which is the only reason it actually gets the amount of business it does get! Come on Dominos you can do better! Fix your wait times on your site or put a cap on how many orders you can actually keep up with so that customers aren’t sitting in a packed parking lot hungry while we watch the employees through the windows just stand at the counter itching their heads between having to tell customers their food still isn’t ready and they need to wait longer! The guy standing at the counter could be helping prep but he is literally just standing there physically scratching his head as if it’s no big deal we are all waiting like this… Not impressed! I’m done with Augusta, I’ll just use the extra gas I have to and drive to Gardiner...
