Amazing Garden — Restaurant in Augusta

We have been coming here for a while now. It's the only chinese restaurant we go to. Many years ago this wasn't a very good location but this past year we tried it again and service and food has been top notch. Everytime we come here we always get great service and we always leave full and food to bring home with us. They are very generous with portion sizes and and prices are very reasonable. I don't remember names well but there is a husband and wife who work here and both are very nice and always make sure we are happy. They take good care of all their customers. Your soda cup is never empty for long and they make small talk, very good customer service. They accept debit/credit and cash here but no atm. They also have a small bar with beer, wine and cocktails. I haven't tried the cocktails yet but they look good! They have plenty of booths and tables and they are wheelchair accessible. Plenty of tables to put a wheelchair. They have no buffet here but they have a very good menu with plenty of options. I try not giving places five stars because nowhere is perfect and not every experience is perfect, however, I have nothing at all to say negative thus far so I have to give it a five star.

The prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are huge. Plenty of parking spots and while I don't really recommend it for children, they probably would still like coming here. The menu is very over powering, but at least they have plenty of choices. They keep the restaurant very clean, I've never seen it dirty, the bathroom is always clean as well. This is a good place for family gatherings or birthday parties. My only small nit pick is, where's the salt? I never see any. And no extra napkins at the table, but that's just me being nit picky. Going down spiral my pu pu platter was small for around 40 bucks usually generous portions not tonight was missing the crab ragoons too make it look full the ribs was was very dry chewy like beef jerky and lacking marinade was not happy also the small sized pork fried rice I would expected a large size I don't know I would consider purchasing a pu pu platter again I will try once more different dish but I thought it was over priced it be nice if they bring back good service china king had once before the atmosphere was bunch loud talkers drinking it not place bring children too be exactly I think sun sun in randolph would be better place take kids n wife next time I want spend few bucks out drive extra few miles outside augusta for good generous portions and better qalitey food for takeout or delivery sorry that was.worst then both canton s in area tonight also got me sick with flu or somthing food poisoning they should refund my debit card but we know they won't...

Food: The egg drop soup is not just egg, it also has carrots and mushrooms, eww.

The chicken looked unappetizing (see pic), but tasted alright. The pork lo mein and pork rice were dry. The egg rolls and duck sauce taste like Christmas (all spice). Get takeout, or just don't go.

Service: The server, who was the only person we saw, was absolutely amazing. She was kind, personable, and the only reason I am not giving everything a one star.

Atmosphere: There were guests talking about having their cysts popped in the ER the previous night, and although this is not the restaurants fault, the specific person speaking about this unappetizing, disgusting subjects was clearly a regular because him and the server knew each other. The server sat nearby, eating, and said nothing.

The restaurant is outdated, and they sat us in front of the windows to make the restaurant look fuller. That maneuver did...
