If I’m being honest, my husband and I enjoy grabbing to go breakfast here from time to time. Usually the food is fine. Today was my last visit here as every time I’ve gone in to pick up my order I get the ignorant stare downs from immature girls I used to go to high school with. Mind you I’ve never even spoken to them so not sure what their attitude is about, but it’s immature and annoying. I’m always polite and always leave a tip even though I’ve ordered take out. Jordan and Jacqueline always seem to have a rude way of staring me down almost as to wanting a negative reaction from me, yet I never give it to them. Again today I ordered both mine and my husband’s food, I called at 10:07 waited 10 mins got my food and walked to the parking lot to eat. Both our meals were cold like it had been cooked previously and they plated left overs or something. I’ve never got cold pancakes or eggs from here, I ordered the little ahop everything was cold! My husband got a few different sides and he also said that was the worst food we’ve ever gotten from here. It’s sad really, I could've dealt with the catty behavior from immature girls but not that and having our food order wrong multiple times and then getting a cold plate of food when it should’ve just been coming out as I got there… This is ridiculous. Won’t be going back. to the others who left reviews saying they also dealt with servers in potentially “having a bad day”, it’s just the same girls who are stuck in their high school ways, thinking they’re better than everyone. I’ve lived in Augusta for almost seven years now 👋 and have been to eat here many times. The food here is reasonably priced, and I’ve always liked whatever I’ve ordered. The reason for the low star review is due to the service. I like to order to-go a few times a month, and each time I have gone in to pick up my food, there will be at least three to four servers that walk by, stare right at me, and proceed to blatantly ignore me.. I have stood around, and it feels like nobody wants to deal with the customer. It would be one thing if this happened once or twice, but it’s actually been every single time I’ve come in to pick up my food. Once someone finally takes the time to ask me if I need anything, and I tell them it’s a takeout order, they just take the cash and ring up the bill, and I am always left feeling like I somehow inconvenienced them by coming in to pick up my food. Also to note, the last time I ordered, they didn’t even put the takeout order in, so I had to sit and wait for them to make my food. Like I said, I’ve never had an issue with the quality of the food, but I’m leaving this review so that hopefully the quality of service changes for the better.. We are so limited for breakfast spots in Augusta, and I can’t help but feel like the service has been so terrible because I’m ordering takeout, and they assume they aren’t getting a tip. Today I went to AHOP for the second time within 3 or 4 days. The first day I went was not terrible but not very good experience. I've been here in the past throughout my whole life and its been pretty decent every time. Never had to complain about food or service. But this day I had decided to get French toast meal. The eggs were ok, bacon ok, but the french toast looked way under cooked and tasted the same. It was mushy and not very enjoyable. Second to that I asked for texas toast and got regular sized bread. But I didn't complain and ate my food. Our server was ok I dont recall her giving us her name or looking to see what it was but we could have had some friendlier service and she didn't check on our meals and there were supposed to be 2 orders of 6 craps and they only made 8 and put them all on one plate. So they had to make more. Today I came in and decided to give it another try. I Ordered chocolate chip pancakes and when I got the pancakes they were over cooked and burnt chocolate chips stuck to the bottom like they sprinkled them on top and just flipped it. It was gross. I could barley cut the pancake it was so tough. And trying to eat it was like eating over cooked steak. But again I didn't complain.
