Met a group of ladies there for lunch. We arrived around noon. There was one person working and she immediately told us they were out of lettuce and tomato for the sandwiches, also out of chicken salad and the breakfast sandwich. There were 6 sandwiches on the menu. And now there were only 4 sandwiches available and those would come without lettuce and tomato! So I ordered the turkey sandwich which was supposed to come with bacon. When I got my sandwich…it was two pieces of bread barely toasted…and two pieces of turkey and cheese. That’s it! No bacon!! Another lady ordered the soup. But was told they were also out of soup. Then I asked for Coke Zero which they didn’t offer but said they had Diet Coke. So I said ok. But as she was pouring the Diet Coke…nothing came out but light brown water. So she said sorry we are out of Diet Coke. The sandwich I ordered that had no lettuce or tomato or bacon….was $11! I asked if it came with a side and she said no. When she was getting out the sandwich ingredients that were in Tupperware she couldn’t get the lid off….so she banged all the containers on the top of the refrigerator very loudly to get the tops off. There is NO excuse for running a place that is out of nearly everything at noon! You should have put a sign on the door that said you weren’t serving lunch. You have a culinary school next door and that could have given you what you needed. AND you had a few premade salads that you could have opened one to make all of us our sandwiches with lettuce and tomatoes. I will NEVER go back to this place. You are supposed to be setting a standard for service as a part of the...

Came here a late Saturday morning, around 10:30 am. The bakery still had a wide selection of pastries but most of the bread had sold out already.

Place was very quaint and had a soothing feeling to it. The staff was so unbelievably friendly, I felt like I was talking to a long time friend as they told me about what they had in stock and answered my questions. I took my time choosing and picked 3 items: a pimento, everything bagel cruffin, a tiramisu croissant, and a passion fruit chocolate entremet.

The items are not cheap but all the baked goods are more than fairly priced. I spent about 16$ total.

Of the three items, the best was definitely the tiramisu croissant. The flavors and filling were rich and delicious, and the sweetness level was just perfect. 5/5.

The pimento cruffin was a second favorite. I don’t tend to like pimento so don’t know why I ordered this but ended up enjoying it for the most part. When it says it has pimento, I mean, it really has it. The cruffin was stuffed to the brim with it, too much for my tastes. I scooped a little off and after that, it was great. Little spicy as well. 4/5.

The entremet was definitely good, just not my favorite if the bunch. Presentation was lovely though. 3.5/5.

Definitely coming back here next time I’m...

Sigh.. I really wanted this to be great! It looked great! The lady working was soooo helpful and the presentation was delectable!! I was drooling by the time I got my box of goodies. I had some everything bread and another bacon cheddar thing. Both were not good. Was so disappointed and I couldn’t believe how something that looked so good could be so, well, not good. I took a couple of bites of both and I threw the rest out. I would be willing to try again and choose different items. I would be happy to update the review if the food experience is any better. I do love the idea of the bakery and I encourage them to stick around!! I certainly look forward to coming back and hopefully ordering...

This was my first visit to the Augusta location, but my wife's second visit to a place that she could not stop praising and promoting. We visited here on a Sunday morning, and it was worth the drive. The warm, friendly, polite staff made the visit even more inviting. It is the kind of bakery that one visits when you want to over indulge in delicious treats. There is something for every one. To many menu choices, you can buy everything you see, but, it is best to try a few menu items each visit. Meaning that you will have to go back to try the rest of the menu. This will be our Sunday morning date. It is the kind of place that you visit at least once. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

Wow! The best French/European bakery in the CSRA. Normally I would drive to Atlanta for these items. My favorite bakery is in Hendersonville NC, but due to COVID they have limited hours. Accidentally found this place on Google Map. Everything we bought were excellent. Can’t wait to return & try the savory baked goods & sandwiches. Updated - 2nd stop this week. More photos. We will try the sandwiches next time.
