I made a quick stop in here for a coffee and some breakfast to take on the road after an overnight stay in Augusta. I'm glad I did.

This place is SUPER adorable both inside and outside. They have a drive through and a relatively spacious parking lot -- both nice. I wanted to go inside so I could see what pastries they had available for me to snack on, so I pulled into a spot and made my way in.

It's beautiful, clean, and very Instagrammable on the inside. So cute! They have a good variety of breakfast goodies (muffins, bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches, etc), some dessert type treats, a range of coffee beverages, and also a focus on frozen custard. I was sad it was a little too early in the day to treat myself to that -- I love frozen custard, lol.

It took a few moments for a staff member to come take my order, but they were fairly busy and everyone I saw interacting with customers was very pleasant and genuinely seemed happy to be there. I asked the barista what her favorite speciality coffee drink was, and she recommended the caramanilla (caramel + vanilla latte). I ordered that iced and a chocolate chip muffin. I took one last longing look upstairs -- they have a rooftop seating area! How cool is that! I wish I'd had time to hang out more. But I had to be on my way.

The muffin was quite large and good, packed full of chocolate chips and heated up without me even having to ask. Yay! :) The coffee was decent, actually probably pretty good, but not totally my thing. I wish they had a slightly larger specialty drink menu, or at least a specialty that features chocolate/mocha, as that's my favorite. I imagine I probably could've asked them to make me something unique, but I didn't wanna be high maintenance.

All in all, absolutely precious and fun cafe with lots of variety, friendly staff, and tasty product. I'd be happy to visit again if I ever find myself...

The good: There are so many ice cream flavors to chose from! The cake was very great! The location and environment was inviting! Besides the menu/order being wrong and not offering to fix it, the staff was nice and friendly

Neutral: they only serve three ice flavors per day, they do have dozens of others flavors in pints in the freezer for $7 tho. They were out of like 3 of the things we tried to order, but thats understandable for any small business.

The bad: we tried multiple things including cake, smoothie, cookies, ice cream, coffee, latte and hot chocolate. Unfortunately the drinks where warm at best and overly sweet and just didn’t taste that good, the pastries tasted like something I could get at the grocery store and the bacon breakfast sandwich tastes like a microwaved frozen breakfast sandwich.

The ugly: We ordered the danish (2) for $3 and got one, when we asked why we only got one they stated their menu was incorrect and didn’t offer to fix it.

To readers: please still try the place out, and support a local business, this was just my experience, maybe you’ll like the drinks and the food.

To the owners: Please fix that small mistake in your menu and make the food...

I wanted to try out a new local coffee stop, as a change from the usual Starbucks or Dunkin run. I had high hopes from looking at the pictures on Google. However, I was not greeted when I walked in the establishment, despite there being plenty of employees present and only one other customer. In addition, once I got to the counter to order, it took an employee about 2-3 minutes to come take my order. I ordered a carmella lattee and a croissant. The latte was sub-par and the taste declined as I continued to drink it. They didn't have many unique flavor options or drinks either. My latte came out first, and I waited about 5 more minutes for my croissant, which I was confused about because they didn't communicate when the rest of the order would come out. I also asked for a cup of water with my order, which didn't come out. I went back up to the counter to ask for it, which took them another couple minutes to get ready. I also noticed one of the employees had an airpod in while they were working, which doesn't seem professional. The atmosphere was neither very welcoming nor hospitable given the attitude from...

I used to love this place for studying. Decided to start coming back for my senior year and I was very disappointed. I am not sure if they have new owners but I noticed several serious issues. The entire front counter was really gross with dust, crumbs, and coffee stains everywhere. Meanwhile, upstairs the paint was chipping off the walls, the floors had food and dirt all over, and it was very muggy. I noticed that there was what appeared to be mold all over the lower portions of the wall. The counter to sit at had portions of it falling over and coming apart plus the high chairs were too high for it. The outside has no covering anymore and all the plants were ripped up, falling over. The wood was dry rotted and wet outside as well. I also paid $8 for a “chai tea” that was basically a cup of milk. The place felt so gross that I decided to leave and study elsewhere. I’m really saddened that they have let the place go and the parking lot was empty when I pulled up so I guess I should have known. Hopefully, they rebuild/remodel because there aren’t any other ice cream places on Washington rd.
