Me Me’s & Bo Bo’s Express Chinese — Restaurant in Augusta

Ordered beef and broccoli which came with fried rice. First no vegetables in fried rice and totally salty. I got yellow rice called restaurant back she said they don’t put vegetables or onions in fried rice because people don’t like it. Well I do and it would be good customer service to tell someone that prior to ordering. Wanted chicken wings which they were out, this makes the third time I’m called and they were out. Very disappointed in my lunch my tongue tingling from the overpowering of salt or soy sauce. So I returned to restaurant to tell them how salty the food was. The lady goes on to tell me they don’t put vegetables in their fried rice anymore because people don’t like it so the season the yellow rice really good. Yes you over season it. I expected Chinese fried rice not Spanish yellow rice. So I exchanged beef and broccoli for the pepper steak that wasn’t any better. It looked like she just threw something together to give me. To be honest, I didn't expect any authentic Chinese food. It is a Chinese food buffet. I can't remember if I have ever been to a buffet featuring authentic Chinese food. Wait, maybe at the Bacchanal Buffet in Caesars Palace in Vegas. But I didn't pay $9.64 including tax for an all you can eat buffet. The food was ok and had some variety. One table is for salad, one for Chinese food, and one for fried American food. If you are looking to fill your stomach with food, it is a decent price. If you look for anything more, you are in the wrong place.

Me Me's & Bo Bo's is a place where you will not only find good food, but friendly faces that are just waiting to welcome you to the family. Although my family was living in the area for around 3 yrs. instead of growing tired of the food there we found that by the end of our time in the area they had grown on us more than we could ever expect while almost regularly seeing them in the area, or while sitting their for the buffets, and becoming a regular for delivering to homes in the area.
