Came here for dinner with the family. We were just looking to try something new and this Irish Pub seemed interesting. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated at our table promptly. This place has a laid back atmosphere. It's a Pub with a good sized bar and then tables around the rest of the establishment for restaurant seating. Fairly decent menu with some good choices. We got a couple of seafood appetizers an were a little disappointed with them. The shrimp and scallops did not taste fresh. They seemed to be previously frozen. The shrimp was very shriveled up and chewy. The presentation and plating was good. For the main courses, there was a mix of Duck, Hamburgers and Fish & Chip's. The hamburgers were good, cooked properly and had excellent flavor. The fish and chips were ok, but again, the fish had the taste and texture of being previously frozen. I could be wrong, but after eating a lot of fresh seafood, you can typically taste and tell the difference from fresh to frozen. The duck was ok. My wife is a huge fan of duck and she was a little disappointed. Overall, I think this is a good laid back place for a decent bite, just don't expect high quality food.

This was my first trip here and I had been anticipating since we planned our trip over a month ago. I will say everyone was very welcoming from our first step in the door. Service was good and I loved the atmosphere. We started with drinks, the red sangria was great! Cost $12. I tried something new to me, the Scottish egg which was bland it needed something like a pinch of salt and pepper, but I tried it in the honey mustard and it was better, I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to use it for the scotch egg or fries so I used on both. This is on the small plate list cost $9. Thought it was an appetizer but definitely enough for a meal. Then ordered the Shepard’s pie which was very hearty and filling and I loved the flavor. However the only complaint I have here is the cost for the portion $26 see photo for reference. My total bill was $60 and some change with tip. So if you’re thinking this is a simple Irish pub, it’s definitely not! It’s more upscale. We enjoyed our visit.

We were looking for some place new. Saw the picture on line and said Yes!! Well the burnt ends were hit & miss an hard to even chew. No real flavor but 2. The wedge salad only flavor was the bacon bits. The chili shrimp were cooked to perfection but had little to zero flavor as did the mush they called jasmine rice. I couldn’t even eat it. The beans and one broccoli piece were barely heated an raw not steamed. The other tables had constant service but we even waited 15 minutes on water. Then waited another 15 to place our simple order. We had cleared every bite and stacked our plates hoping our waitress would take the hint. Finally got a refill on his beer and water and asked if we wanted check. Sad we usually tip exceptionally well. She got $10 for our $54 order because beyond the atmosphere Id not come back. Could have been a great hole in the wall pub!! Edible ? Yes. Worth a visit? No.

I will be the first to acknowledge: We were spoiled by living in Savannah GA for a decade. Eating establishments had to be good.

This is not an "Irish Pub" in any sense of the word. Be it the bro country blasting, the "Gastro Pub" menu or the lack of transparency by the entire enterprise. I will admit, my father in law should have looked at the menu before we booked our reservation. With that being said, you DO NOT call yourself a Irish Pub and have nothing on the menu that reflects that except one thing...Fish and Chips.

The marketing of this establishment needs to be reviewed. It's not coherent, it makes no sense and nothing aligns. Name, Decor, Music, Food....it's just all over the place. And I don't call a bar and an Irish Flag on the wall a pass for "Irish Pub" for what it's worth.

So if you want to go to an Irish Pub and have virtually nothing resembling an Irish Pub's menu, be blasted by some Bro Country, go here. If you want some legit fair, go to Churchill's or the Six Pence in Savannah, it's worth the trip for the food and the scenery. This place, overpriced and deceiving.

Oh, and a 22 ounce Ribeye is $65....let that sink in. Apparently they have a Shepherds pie, but it was not on the menu and the waiter failed to mention it to us.

Premises was clean, Waiter was polite. Tuna Steak (yeah....Irish Pub fair)...overly cooked on one side, barely seared on the other. Middle was lukewarm at best. Fish and chips were apparently palatable (it's hard to ruin that...its fried).

I give this a 2-3 star. Left unfulfilled and literally hungry for an actual Irish Pub. Save your money for a place that has the guts to name themselves appropriately and be honest about how...

I’ve been here many times and have had great meals. It’s been a year, and dinner tonight was a total mess. $48 steak ordered medium rare. Served well done. Returned. Next steak was even more well done. Meanwhile, I have nothing to eat, my husband has finished his dinner. ( they could have left my sides)

Manager comes over and takes away my 2nd over cooked steak to “ show the new chef” I grabbed my sides as I was starving.

They took the steak off the check. ( well, yeah, you took it away). First for me, and I was a restaurant floor manager all through college.

Manager gave us a gift certificate. ( remember, I did not get to eat dinner) We thanked him, and then I opened it.

$25 off a future meal. That does not even cover a small plate appetizer.

No thanks, our meal there usually runs $200+ with drinks. I’m not driving all the way back from Aiken for a $25 off a future meal coupon.

So disappointed, this was a favorite place.

Hopefully this review is helpful to what seems to be new...
