The food was excellent, but Heather was as rude as they come. She was very unprofessional and clearly had and nasty attitude and was upset even before she waited on us. She was very short, hurried and after we eat and went to check out I inquired if they honor military with a discount and she snapped, "Only if they are in uniform!" I stated we aren't in uniform but we do have our IDs. Heather just ignored us and didn't even look at the ID card my husband was showing her. I asked her do you need to see both of our cards or just one and she again did not reply...I then asked her again.and she snapped.."Look, I don't need to see your ID!. I replied, "Well i asked you twice and you did not reply" She snapped.." I don't need to see both your cards. I said well you didn't say anything when I asked you.."She yelled.."Yes, I did" Heather C was apparently having a bad day before we got there and was clearly agitated and very unprofessional. Do better..the food was great. The kitchen, atmosphere and the food at the were great. Heather was the only problem.
Update: Heather, the gentleman you refer to is my husband and we have eaten there before but rarely at the bar. He said you always seem to have an attitude. We normally go there after our VA appointments because the food and service were always good. After reading the reviews its clear to see YOU have a pattern of poor customer service to certain clientele.
He said all the times he has been there before you never mentioned military or discount and you have never seen or asked for his ID. So miss me with that LIE that you didn't need to see his ID because you had seen it prior.
I will never recommend your restaurant to incoming soldiers looking for a good place to eat, specially those who YOU clearly have an issue with.
As a soldier it is sad to know that many of the rights we fight for everyone are often not extended in return.
I pray you address the concerns many of the reviews have identified as they seem to be based on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDoor dashing here. Iām a black woman. When I walked in the young man assisted the young Caucasian man in front of me happily. As i approached he just looked at me and a young lady assisted me. When I arrived at the back to pick up my order the young lady let me out the back door. WHEN I PARKED IN THE FRONT SHE CONVINCED ME IT WAS A QUICKER ROUTE?? I literally had to walk around the back of wingstop, big mamas soul food, PLANET FITNESS!! My car was parked in the front I came in through the front. SHE REALLY LET ME OUT THE BACK DOOR LMAO this is America
Edit: since I cannot respond to the comment I will update my review. As a dasher or any driver you follow the instructions provided on the app which led us to the front of the building. Why would it lead us to the back of the building where there are nothing but steel doors and trash cans? What kind of restaurant provides those delivery instructions? Iām guessing none because those shaky instructions were not provided by door dash. Also, we were the second dasher to pick up an order this day. The other nice white gentleman I referred to earlier parked in the front of the building in front of me, picked up his order at the front counter. He was not walked to the back and out the back door. Iām not sure why⦠I did report this restaurant to door dash and I hope this review serves its purpose. I may update additional...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne of the most racist places here in Augusta. I was told to go to the bar area to place my to go order. I had my 3 year old daughter with me as well. I placed my order and i was told by the cashier itāll only take about 15 minutes, which was fine. I sat down at one of the tables near the cash register to wait for my order. My daughter started crying because she hit her finger on the table and the OWNER comes up to me and says ā would she like a lollipop because we canāt have all that crying in hereā. First of all, if that was the case, there shouldāve been a sign saying no kids allowed in the bar area and you shouldnāt have people placing to go orders in that area if you have an issue with a 3 year old crying not even for a full minute. I understand they want the bar area to be a relaxed environment but itās not what you say but how you say it. You can tell the vibe when you walk in the door and I honestly shouldāve left once I noticed that. If youāre of color, you might not want to come to this place. Thatās sad honestly. Itās 2023 and the owner herself should be ashamed of herself. And the food was terrible anyway. The energy you put into disrespecting ppl, you NEED to put that same energy into seasoning your food. Iāll be reporting to...
