Update: Knocking this down to 2 stars, maybe 1, because the last 3 visits were just bad. Is there a new chef or something? Potatoes in the massman curry were raw, The pad Thai was mushy with, no balance of flavors and inedible chicken. Something has definitely changed since my first review. Excellent Thai food. This place was a total surprise. It's way up on a hill by the airport and the Western Ave-facing sign is handwritten. It's like, "don't come here." Well, more like, don't spoil this gem. First, the place inside is brand new and overlooks the runway and amazing sunsets. It's small but quaint and clean. People were happy and patrons had this look on their faces like, "I know, can you believe how amazing this is?" Worth going for soup and a view. Second, the food is incredibly fresh and authentic despite the unappetizing food photography on their website. No corner cutting. One of my favorite Thai dishes, "larb," was done beautifully and is served with sticky rice, which is how I always order it but no one ever has sticky rice available anymore. Pad thai came with the toppings that every other place forgets: bean sprouts, extra crushed peanuts and a lime wedge. That's how it should be served. And cilantro, but they didn't use it. It needed a little more fish sauce for balance but it was delish. I had some at home so I added it myself. The only negative I have was the potatoes weren't fully cooked in our tofu masaman curry. That's a biggie. But forgivable. Will definitely be...

Even at its busiest, staff is friendly, accommodating and their timing is perfect. I ordered a Lychee Martini which may be the best mixed drink I've ever had. The food was hot, had excellent flavor, and was brought out quickly.
First floor access makes this location available for folks with walking issues. Probably okay for kiddos but the environment is a little more upscale so they would probably want to be on their best behavior.
The price is well worth the quality of the food and the...
Read moreThis place is insane. They have a lot of unique options that you wouldn't find in an average Thai food place in Maine, like for example I had the Khao Soi. It came out quick, in a perfect sized portion, and was delicious. I got 3 stars spicy, and it definitely had some heat but nothing I couldn't tolerate. Then I tried the fried bananas, and those were crispy and delicious. The waitresses were friendly and attentive, and it was all around just pleasant and peaceful. Pretty decently priced compared to other prices in the area and given that the options are more unique. Want to try the pork...
