Game On — Local services in Augusta

I traveled to Manchester for a funeral this week and one of the things I wanted to do the most was to stop in at a card store and browse singles. I had recently lost all my cards in an apartment fire and wanted to get a special card or two to commemorate my trip here. I didnt have a lot of money to spend so I picked the Venemoth and the Dark Alakazam. After Matt had heard what I went through, he went above and beyond to make this the most memorable experience I've ever had. Where I'm from we don't have card stores like this where you can browse singles like that. It warmed my heart soo much and it may sound silly, but it almost brought me to tears. It definitely left me speechless.

Matt and Noah were both accommodating to the highest level and I felt extremely welcomed, despite not even being from the area. There was a lady from the back (who's name i never caught) who was very sweet and welcomed us to the store and area as well. Everyone seemed nice and genuine. Great customer service, good selection of card accessories as well as other ttrpg tools and accessories.

Reason for 4 Star is that I watched them purchase a 78 dollar card from a customer for 37 dollars, and I understand a profite NEEDS to be made for a game store even break even but a 210% profit is simply outrageous. Considering the card was in a protective sleeve in good condition. (This is only applicable to people looking to sell cards to the store.)

Other then this the atmosphere is very very inclusive the staff are respectful and it's a good store to support for the community. I will continue to buy my bundles, booster packs and individual cards at this store and look forward to its success...

When it comes to local game stores, Game On is top tier. Friendly staff, spacious play area, and competitive prices. I've played Magic at most of the stores between Bath and Bangor, and none come close to Game On. Sue keeps the store immaculate and well-organized, and fosters a friendly environment to play in. I've been coming to Monday/Friday night Magic for around a year now, and can't say I've ever had anyone in my pod that wasn't a pleasure to play with.

On a side note, I love that Game On is a safe space for people from all walks of life. The entire staff is nothing but respectful no matter who you are. I look forward to continuing to support the store in the future while playing Commander...
