Mayo Grill — Restaurant in Aurora Township

THIS PLACE REALLY SURPRISED ME i am literally writing this review as i'm still eating because it just couldn't wait. first off, the customer service was fantastic. it's family owned too they were super nice and even let me try a small sample of their strawberry milkshake (which was really good btw) the interior looked nice and clean as well. For the food i just got a cheeseburger with everything on it. it came with hefty serving of fries and they also offer lemon pepper on it. presentation wise the burger looked pretty good, but taste wise the burger is DELICIOUS. the meat is cooked well and it's not too thin or too thick. the ratio of the patty to bun + other toppings is actually quite nice. it's not overbearing. i usually don't opt for burgers during lunch bc they tend to be too greasy and heavy but i wanted to try this place because you really aren't breaking the bank w that price. AND IM GLAD I DID. the burger was even bigger than i expected and the bun was warm and soft but strong enough to hold everything together without getting messy. the fries were also so crispy and light!! definitely my fave kind of fries to have cuz they're still crunchy even when they're not warm anymore. i don't even live in the area (i'm 40 min away) but i would gladly come back to this place and try...

We came here on a whim as we were craving gyros. We ended up trying the crispy gyros and the man behind the counter was very knowledgeable and made sure we knew what we were getting so we wouldn’t be disappointed. I really appreciated that and the conversation but I had to go sit in the car because I wasn’t feeling well.

I’m posting this review after my husband told me about his conversation with the owner. Apparently it’s a middle eastern family owned spot and he and my husband chatted a little bit about culture and where they both are from. I thought it was very sweet my husband came back with the food and a smile. I noticed his mom was cooking the food in the back because he very respectfully conveyed the order to her. I wouldn’t expect anything less but mention it because supporting good people is important to me. And supporting small local businesses as well! We will definitely be back and will try something new...

Me, and my mom, went for the first time last night! Mike was amazing - he was patient while we figured out what we wanted to order and made sure we knew if we were ordering extras that we didn't need to (fries lol). Atmosphere was so nice and clean, like super clean!!!!! Let's talk about the food though, oh man it was GREATTTTTTT!!! It was HOT and was SOOOOO GOOD!!! We got the Crispy gym shoe (taste was amazing, NICE crisp on sandwhich, HUGE sandwhich, didn't want to stop eating it even though I was full, lol) a gyro plate (again amazing taste, HUGE (like literally a ton of gyro meat) and my mom didn't want to stop eating it lol) and a 6pc whole wing (again amazing taste, as Crispy as they should be, some NICE size wings and only tasted them cause we were too full haha)!! So basically everything was FANTASTIC and we will definitely be back and telling all of our friends and family to go eat here!!! They even do...
