We started going to Panchos many years ago when it opened. The food used to be amazing. I would guess we have eaten or ordered take out 15 to 20x. We came back today after maybe a year of not coming. We could not believe the difference. I have no other word than disgusting to describe the food. We had the Combination platter and the Chimichanga. Absolutely tasteless. I asked for lettuce, tomato and sour cream when I ordered. It never came out, even after reminding our server. The Pico was tasteless and the salsa was not edible it was so hot and I like hot. Our waitress did not come to table to ask if we needed anything. She spent most of her time chatting up men at the bar. My sisters taco was so dry with 1 string of lettuce and one small slice of unripe tomato. Her enchilada was made with the mini corn tortilla, you could hardly make out what it was. The meat in the burrito was so dry and hard it looked like dog food. We will not be back and I'm sure there are new owners. I read the reviews and I noticed that the manager responds to positive reviews and not the negative of which there are many. So disappointed. I asked our waitress to speak to the manager, she went back to the bar and spoke to the men eating there, pointed at our table then they laughed....

I wanted to make sure and asked the person in my party, and the person confirmed they had gotten the wrong thing, the server quickly chimed to say “no, that is what you ordered”, seriously? Our entire table agreed on what had been ordered but the server knew better apparently. We ordered guacamole as an appetizer, I think they mix bad avocados with good avocados as the guacamole, supposedly made fresh, was turning brown by the time it reached our table. The tortilla chips could be used as a hammer, they were warm yet super hard. I ordered a tampiqueña and it was one of the worst I’ve had. It was way over seasoned, extremely salty, and waaaay over cooked when I had asked for medium temperature, although to be fair it was probably a good thing that it was cooked too much as the steak tasted pretty bad and not sure how fresh it was. Beans were completely unseasoned and the rice was hands down some of the worst rice I’ve had, mushy, flavorless yet with a bad after taste. The only thing at this restaurant that met the expectations was the canned coke I had...
Read moreI had enchiladas, husband had guisada. The rice and beans on both of our plates were cold not even a touch of cheese was even remotely melted on top of the beans that's how cold they were. They also had no flavor, they were definitely not homemade. So warmth probably wouldn't have helped them. My enchilada cheese was barely melted. They didn't bring my husband tortillas for his guisada, until 10 minutes after he received his plate. Then they only brought him enough to make two tacos. Then we asked for another set of tortillas which we finally got, they brought him enough for two more tacos and then my husband was done and we were out of there. We have plenty of tortillas at home, please bring a box for this. He said that the guisada was definitely not what he was used to from there. It was once delicious. It was overall a unpleasant experience. This used to be one of our favorite places to go. And now we know we never...
