The regular (neapolitan) pizzas you get here are great and I don't want to be too harsh, but don't get the Sicilian, or as I am now calling it: The mozzarella tragedy.

Normally more cheese more better, but this thing was dripping with grease, unable to hold itself together, and finding the toppings required an excavator. If that pizza was any more oily, The US would liberate it.

The box was obscenely heavy, and upon opening contained more pizza tables than I've ever received in my entire life in all the pizzas I've ever ordered. They were arranged in a grid to try to suspend the ceiling of the pizza box from the ocean of cheese below.

On paper, that sounds great. How it actually went was it all went for the center of the pie, forcing the pieces apart and melting down to the cardboard below like a nuclear disaster. This resulted in about 1/3 of the pizza no longer having any toppings on it. I had to slice the cheesy ooze into slices to put on my slices of crust. Not a great first impression.

After refrigerating the leftovers (we could not get through that gut buster of dairy), the pizza tables I had not removed were now fast in place as the mozzarella corium had hardened. Retrieving the remainders was like pulling Excalibur from the stone (and I was not the chosen one).

With a lot of hard work and effort, two adults got through maybe 1/2 of this monster and the rest went in the trash. I have never experienced such a bad joke of a pizza. No I had not asked for extra cheese. Nor did I ask for the model of Hadean Earth that I ended...

Update 7/22/17 After the last 2 not so good trips we went for lunch before the rush today for one last try. Ordered a large and it was on the table in about a half hour. It was HUGE and pretty good. Not great but good and they may be winning us back after today. I will move it from a 2 star up to a 4 star after this trip. Use to love this place but not so much any more. Last pizza we ordered Small Half & Half that was $17/$18 after toppings not counting the tip I gave them. It had almost no sauce and very little toppings. I noticed a sign that says pay for extra sauce. Is that why you don't get sauce unless you pay more and still pay $17+ for a small. So the girlfriend complained and the owner offered a free pizza to try them again. Very nice of him. So we ordered the pizza tonight to go. We got their about 15 to 20 minutes later. After about 15 minutes my girlfriend asked when it would be done and she was told they were making it now. What? When we got there they said it was in the oven now they are just making it? They said we did not say that and we both herd them say it was in the oven. I said you really want pizza? She said yes so I said I'll be back then. I went to ace and then home, Dinked around and went back just in time for her to be waiting with the pizza. This time the pizza was good like it use to be. I say eat at your own risk. You may or may not get a good pizza and you may or may not get it within an hour. Will be eating pizza elsewhere now. Use to give it a 5 star now I would say 2.5 Not worth the wait or...

I absolutely love Anthony's Pizza but recently had an interaction that makes me second guess. I usually go to the store on Darmouth but they were down a driver one night so I ordered from the Illiff store. I ordered online and waited for over an hour for the delivery to arrive, when I called to check up I was told the order was for pick up not delivery. They never offered to deliver it. I spoke to a Chris Bostwick who claims to be the owner of that location. He was very rude and condescending and continued to just laugh at me. I canceled that order out of frustration and was told the charges would be reversed to my card a few days later. After checking with my bank today, almost week later, i find out that not only did they not reverse the charge but in fact double charged me. So I called again and got the same jerk on the phone. after a half hour of listening to him make excuses and again laughing at me. I sit here still with the problem unresolved. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION THEY WILL...

We used to love Anthony’s and were excited to bring our family there for dinner. We get there to realize the indoor dining has been shut down completely, so we just decide to order it to go. We sent our family back to our house to wait. We ordered a large pizza and cheese sticks. The food took 40 minutes and normally we would have been fine with that just because we love their pizza. We get home and the cheese sticks were broken, soggy and smooshed (the $11 cheese sticks mind you) you could get better cheese sticks at any fast food establishment. Our pizza was covered in grease and had no flavor. It was definitely a major let down and I feel like we all used the phrase “They used to be so good! I don’t know what happened” through the entire meal. Everyone ended up eating about half their slice before we just gave up and made sandwiches. A big waste of $45 that’s for sure.

AMAZING!! They never disappoint! I've eaten at the restaurant, and had take-out and delivery service. They have top-notch, friendly customer service. And, all the different food we have had on the menu is always so tasty. Even when delivery times are long, the food is always hot, and worth the wait. My personal and family favorite, and a default go to for delivery of great food. Today's delivery was no exception. 😊❤️. So good, the fam wouldn't even wait for me to take a pic of the pizzas, lol. Thank you for your quality of service.

I’ve been a fixture here for 26 years but was born and raised in Central Jersey. I was home at Christmas and had a few pies from 2 pizza parlors in Trenton. Including a tomato pie, a Trenton favorite. I can honestly say I prefer the pizza that Bill makes at the Anthony’s on Iliff Ave. I’ve also had fantastic calzones. So I say to whom ever instructs the chefs here does a terrific job. The taste and quality never waivers.
