I just stopped by my local Dairy Queen to get a blizzard, I understand it was a half an hour before close. The lights were dim, and the workers were not happy when I walked in as I could tell by not being greeted. I then was helped at the register. Nothing great about the interaction but nothing bad either. After my transaction at the register, the gentleman picked up his mop handle, started mopping and assumed that the other workers would make my blizzard. When he realized no one else was making it he dropped his mop handle, and immediately grabbed my cup from the dispenser. He then put the ice cream in the cup and went over to the bar to add the M&Ms and the syrup. As he was doing this and putting the white cone on the cup he decided to itch his nose. I could clearly see he was itching, not only the outside but the inside of his nose over my food. Another customer walked in. He then stopped making my blizzard and went to help the other customers. Another gentleman walked up, finished mixing the blizzard and then handed it to me. As he handed it to me I let him know that I did not appreciate someone itching their nose over my food. The gentleman did offer to make a new blizzard for me, but I refused as I don’t need to risk any other food violations, being done with my food. This gentleman should’ve washed his hands after dropping the mop handle, from previously using the register and should not have itched his nose with his hand while making my food. You have an arm and an inside elbow for that. I know this seems little, but this is actually very important when you are serving food to other people. They didn’t come to your home and there are cleanliness standards. I will not go back to this Dairy Queen nor did I want my...

Read moreWe love coming to this place. We usually bring our two boys and three dogs. Today I was a bit disappointed by JULIA’s customer service...or rather lack there of. In the middle of making our cones the machine ran out of ice cream. No biggie. She went to change out the machine and managed to drop a bit of ice cream on her boots. So she stopped what she was doing and ran to the back to change her boots first, before finishing serving our or anyone else’s order.
When she came back to finish our order she forgot one of the cones. I told her we were still missing one cone and she proceded to argue with me about the stupid cone. It took another male associate to tell her that in the fluster of changing the machine she forgot to give me a cone. She sighed annoyingly, made me another cone and rolled her eyes as she handed it to me.
Truly did not make an effort to make me feel valued as a customer. I’ve met the owner’s daughter and it’s clear that this type of behavior is not normal nor tolerated. I hope she reads this review and takes this as a learning tool for Julia. She probably didn’t mean any harm. Just needs to work on her customer...
