From the very first time I visited this restaurant, I was welcomed like family. The waitress greeted me with genuine joy and a big smile, and even the owners made a point to say hello. That warmth and hospitality alone is worth a visit, but then the food and drinks took it to the next level!
The Honey Passion drink is honestly the best I’ve ever had, so refreshing and flavorful. The quesabirrias were perfectly crisp and cheesy, the fish tacos were on point, and the pozole and street corn? Absolutely delicious. Every dish I’ve tried has been served warm, fresh, and full of flavor. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in what they do.
What truly keeps me coming back (and I’ve been here more than five times already) is how valued and cared for I feel every time. In fact, I loved the place so much I asked the owner if I could celebrate my birthday there. They kindly said yes, and even though it poured rain on the day of my party (5/25/25), they created a stunning setup in a private dining area just for us. It was beautifully organized, cozy, and elegant. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my guests were comfortable and happy, we ended up spending 3–4 hours there just enjoying the atmosphere, the amazing service, and each other.
This restaurant is more than just great food and a beautiful space, it's a place where you feel seen, appreciated, and taken care of. Highly recommend it for a casual meal, a special celebration, or...

This place is a MANY steps above the typical Mexican food available anywhere else. It is more like the meals my Mexican mom cooked for us at home using high quality ingredients and flavors that focused on the subtle spices rather than overpowering you with pepper to the point of being inedible.
I had the carne asada and found the meat to be tender and perfectly cooked. It was a juicy, thick piece of steak rather than the usual thin and tough piece you usually find.
One daughter had the shrimp tacos and they were excellent as well. This is a large serving so I got to have one and taste from personal experience. My other daughter had the pork tamales. They were stuffed with well-flavored meat and the masa was moist and delicious. My wife loved her shredded beef enchiladas with red chili.
We had the house margarita and it was great. One of the few places where I would not feel it necessary to go top shelf to get a decent drink.
Sadly, this place is across town, but we will be back as often...
Read moreCame here off a Tik Tok that kept popping up on my fyp. Reviews were also solid. It's behind CU Medical center, that whole new area near Fitzsimmons. Gentrified like crazy so I get who they're catering to. Place is super clean. Food- Salsa lacked flavor and spice. Horchata, watery. Had it been in ice too long maybe? It has potential. The carne asada plate I ordered was good. Meat was tender, rice was great. Tortillas & tortilla chips aren't made In-house it seems. I get it. Prices are high. I'm coming off harsh, but there is a lot of competition in this area and you have to at least get the basics right - In-house tortillas, good horchata, good salsa. I also ordered the churros. Overcooked, which made them hard. Hey, at least I went to support a small business. Best spot in that area? 10 minutes away at La Plaza on Colfax & Chambers. Then get some pan dulce at Mi Pueblo...
