We ordered a pizza tonight at shortly after 5:00 p.m. tonight. The pizza showed up at 6:50 p.m. It was cold. It was also disheveled like either the pizza pizza was dropped or maybe the driver slammed on his brakes and everything slid to one side of the box . When we called to order the pizza they gave us a delivery time of 45 to 50 minutes but it was actually double that. Chris, the manager did offer to give us a credit when we called over an hour later nd asked where the pizza was, which was fine. However, once the pizza showed up 30 minutes after that in the shape that it was in, we asked for a full credit back to our credit card, which he agreed to. I do always believe it is best to under promise over deliver and not the way around. Unfortunately, I don't know that I can order from this place again. This was an actual store employee that made the delivery. Door Dash is usually the culprit for cold pizza deliveries. I called to make sure the delivery driver didn’t suffer from epilepsy and perhaps had a seizure while driving with all the Christmas lights. I was assured the driver was on their way and close. I’ve called the store multiple times complaining about the cold pizza deliveries. I mean I just don’t get it. If your business is delivering pizza you should have drivers to deliver pizza or just don’t offer that as an option. No excuses about hiring people or nobody wants to work as a business/franchise owner this is your responsibility...
Read moreHungry Howie’s was our favorite pizza place in the area. They were always fast and accurate. I understand that volume is higher right now and that can effect their speed, but it’s their quality and accuracy that has suffered more. Our last several orders have been wrong, and I don’t just mean that some of the toppings weren’t correct, they’re delivering completely different things than we’re ordering. It shows on the app what they’re checking to make sure that your order is correct, obviously this step isn’t really happening any more. I don’t know if the drivers or stores are measured on their delivery times, but they’ve also started marking the order as complete at least 10 minutes before it arrives. I really hope that they get things turned around, but for now it’s time to find a new place...
