I'm new to Los Cuates, and their staff was super friendly to me. I called in an order and was that guy who asked a zillion questions, ordered, changed my order, and was probably frustrating to deal with to say the least. They took it all in stride and were just so accommodating. It was a great starting point. The amount of food that I got for $10 was absurd. This is one of the best values I've experienced in the DMA. The staff threw in chips and salsa for me which was really generous and appreciated. The salsa tasted fresh, medium spice, and was absolutely crushable. I could live off that stuff. The cheese enchiladas with red sauce were also quite tasty. The only reason I'm not giving 5/5 stars here is just based on other cheese enchiladas I've had in the city. These were good, but not the best. In terms of value, they might be the best value in the city, but I want to come back here for their relleno plate. I'll be back to update this review soon! Great food and...

Listen up people, I'm gonna let you in on a little secret, okay?? But you have to promise not to tell anyone about this place. Because when the rest of Denver finds out that this is some of the best Mexican food in town, more people are going to come here, there will be long wait for tables, and it'll be hard for me to find a seat. And wet can't have that. So keep it to yourself that the red chili is super delicious and super spicy and isn't an excellent accompaniment for the super delicious cheesy enchiladas. Also the asada burrito with green chili is to die for, and when people find out about it, they are going to want to come here in large groups and it will overpopulate the restaurant and again, it will make it difficult for me to find a table. So please feel free to try this place, but don't tell...

Was excited to try this spot because of the reviews! Unfortunately, the food was just okay. It is half sit down restaurant half order up front. The people working there are reallllly nice but once you order at the front and pay you kinda have to keep coming back up to ask for things. This is frustrating because we did not order To-go and we tipped like a regular sit down. My husband had to get up at least 5 times. Once for a refill, once for limes, another to ask if they had a certain appetizer, once to remind them about the tamale I ordered and asked for lime, and another for togo boxes when we finished. I never even got a refill to my water. I was disappointed but hopefully this experience was just a one and done. The food itself was really just okay. Mom and I had fajitas and my husband had a...

Came to try this spot based on the reviews and I love a family owned business. Decent take on Mexican food. I ordered 3 hard shell tacos (shredded beef/chicken & ground beef) and a salvadorian tamale with rice and beans. Chips were crisp and fresh salsa was okay I prefer spicy less watery salsa. The chicken taco was slightly dry but still good. Shredded beef was the best and the ground beef was okay. (Im not too big on ground beef) Everything needed salt but I prefer things on the salty side. The tamale reminded me of a pastelle (Puerto Rican tamale) it was tasty and the masa had good consistency and flavor. The atmosphere was a little strange there was no music or background ambience, since it's a small place the quiet made it awkward. Other than that very clean and friendly place.

We entered and were allowed to pick our own table. My daughter chose to sit by the TV so we could immerse ourselves in Spanish news while listening to Spanish songs on the radio. Our dining experience started with free tortilla chips served with a selection of sauces ranging from normal to spicy. The adults enjoyed the house margarita and Dos Equis. Our food was served in large portions, so we were able to share and try different items. EVERYTHING was plated beautifully, with a fresh temperature and amazing flavors and spices. We highly recommend locating this restaurant for your next meal. If you are busy, order food to go. It is worth the stop! Muy delicioso!
