More love needs to go into their food, establishment, and service for the price. 1 XXL Specialty pizza, 1 small Shrimp Alfredo pasta, and a 2 ltr soda was $55. The pizza was satisfying, toppings seemed fresh. It's a thin hard crust style pizza. Biggest disappointment was the Shrimp Alfredo, they even have a picture sign out front to advertise it, like it's something they are proud of. I would be embarrassed to serve this at home, let alone any restaurant. Canned Alfredo sauce, and not even a premium brand. Sprinkling parsley on top doesn't make it any more appealing. Butter, cream, and Romano and Parmigiano cheeses have a long shelf life, so there isn't an excuse for what I was served. Also, if you are going through the trouble of cooking frozen shrimp, get raw, reheating precooked frozen shrimp doesn't keep the texture. The establishment was so run down. It's not one of those hasn't changed mom and pop places that make you feel good. More wondering how clean it is. Ac was broken, ice machine is broken. Just say some pictures posted with the lights turned on, this definately makes it look a bit cleaner, but we didnt have the hospitlity of having lights in the dining room turned on for us. The employees seemed run down too, wasn't welcoming to say the least. Like others have said, you feel like a nuisance. I think the owners need to consider closing the dining side all together, and make it take out only. It's just not a good welcoming feeling in the dining room or from the staff- and it doesnt have to be if it's take out. Remove menu items that are not up to par completely from the menu or do it right. Don't serve disappointing food. Put love into ALL the food you make. Needless to say, there is a ton of room for...
Read moreLeaving a review after several years going to Mama Olivia's. First off, do yourself a favor and just call in your order, or order when you are there, if possible, avoid online ordering. M.O's is my go to spot for good pizza, and I get M.O.'s on a fairly regular basis, as it has the best pizza around with a couple stipulations. First being, the pizza must be stuffed crust. They use a different formula for the stuffed crust pizzas and it is superior to their other pizza's. Second, pickup is the way to go from M.O.'s. Most of the time delivery is spot on, but it's almost a coin flip that they mess up and take forever, arriving with luke warm food, incorrect order, or misplace the order entirely, and you have to call back in before they start it(you know this happens when they say it will be 45 mins, then almost 2 hour later they show up with a piping hot Za). I have not explored the menu much outside their pizzas aside from sometimes getting hot wings, but havent been recently.
Reasons for not getting 5 stars: 1.) Online menu is difficult to use and placing online orders is clunky and the UI is sub par. 2.) Can be inaccurate and slow with orders. 3.) Restaurant is not always the cleanest...
Read moreWe ordered 2 Calzones online and paid for them. Pick up time was 12:38-12:48, I arrived at 12:55. Had to hold onto my car because the parking in front had a 2" ice rink around it. The not so nice person at the counter told me that she did not have any order for me. I had to pull out my phone to prove it and about that time. A gentleman walked in and said it's probably from beyond menus. We're gonna discontinue that website. He told me it's going to take him about 10-15 minutes to make my order. I received it at 1:30pm. I mentioned to him about maybe putting down some ice melt because I almost fell and broke my crown. His response was it's the property management's responsibility not mine. I said well if I would have fallen it would have been you, I would have been holding responsible. No response from him at all. Calzones had no ricotta cheese?? Wth. We will not be ordering from...
