Mishap is my favorite place to get coffee in Aurora/ Denver. Truly, you could catch me here most days out of the week. Mishap has a set of thoughtful and creative baristas who have put together a fantastic menu, and an even better place to hang. I especially look forward to the seasonal rotations like the Black Velvet and Spicy Mocha. Don't sleep on the chai, it's packed with ginger will have you ditching every other chai latte you've met before.
I am lucky to live down the street from Mishap and I consider it my "local dive". For anyone else in the Stanley Marketplace neighborhood, you've got to add this place to your list of frequent visits. The Mishap / Second Dawn Community is the other aspect that makes this spot such a neighborhood staple. I'm always learning about new events or groups, and there's always a wonderful employee to strike up a convo with.
Other great things; so much room for activities. Plugs every where. Always space to work on your laptop. They even have a small room in the back that you can reserve for bigger gatherings. the food! Mishap has some consistent food options; the coffee cake (ya gotta try it) and the burritos are a go to. Theyll also host pop ups, like an upcoming pastry day or the first Sunday of the month runclub pancake day. Mishap has a great in and out set up for those on the go. Unlike other spots nearby, the parking lot is nearly always accessible and makes it easy for you to grab your coffee(s) and get...
Read moreI heard about Mishap Coffee on Instagram and that they were opening. Decided to order and try the Columbian coffee and Rwandan coffee and have them shipped to us in New York. The beans were ground perfect for a press pot and roasted really well. The Rwandan is definitely my favorite and will have to order more for sure! Looking forward to when they get some merch so I can get a vinyl sticker and other swag- maybe a tshirt or something. Oh, the shipping was quick too! ☕️
(I haven’t been to the store so I gave the location a 5 star because I didn’t want it to negatively impact the reviews. And to the woman who gave them 2 stars because YOU didn’t check the hours - girl, so lame. Be better than that, your ratings have an impact so don’t punish them because of your lack of research. 🤦♀️ And no, I’m not affiliated with Mishap Coffee, just someone who loves local...
Read moreI am so excited for this new coffee shop that recently opened in our favorite brewery. Yep, coffee and beer co-located = heavenly combo!! Colin, the owner and barista, is so friendly and kind. It’s clear he loves what he’s doing. We’ve enjoyed several different espresso drinks, drip coffee, bonfire burritos, and the cherry chocolate scone and the lemon blueberry scone. Colin roasts the beans himself and you can buy a bag there too! This is also a place where there’s plenty of room to spread out and work or have a meeting. I know this will be my new weekly...
