Pupusas House — Restaurant in Aurora

We used to come here a lot but lately they have been slacking. 1. They always get my order wrong and when I ask extra for something they ALWAYS FORGET and still charge. 2. Their chicharon for pupusas is definetly not tasting good at all! it has a smokey burnt flavor but also we ask for chicharon with cheese its mostly cheese! but ask for revueltas and they FILL it with pure beans. 🤢 and its been like that lately Masa is tough for sure! Those pupusas should be soft 4. One of the reason we want to stop coming...this has happened 3 times! they favor some guy with his friend that always come in and backs up orders when he comes in Me and my husband were waiting 30mintues the girls next to our table over 40! still no food yet these men ordered and they got there food with in 15 mintues! fresh! Aint no way hes the owner . Becuase we know who it is! from and inside source lol We waited ate and left but the ladies left the table when they brought there food the ladies were long gone! This 2 guys always bug and in the way of the register and messes with the music and blast it as if its club. Bugging the girls at the register! What an embarrassment to this establishment. unfortunately we wont be back. Too bad. Take care of...

Talking about food, it is really good compared to bunch of Salvadoran places I have been. PUPUSAS: So yummy and good size, just make sure you put enough chicharrones, mine seemed more like a beans pupusa and not a “revuelta”pupusa. Tamales and elote tamales.. they were yummy and with good cheese and crema. Horchata was too sweet. Make sure you put correct quantities of sugar because it was very sweet. Service… So so.. they need more servers not only one who is the cashier and she is busy taking orders, at the phone, etc. But I had to say she was super friendly and cool. Atmosphere… TOO LOUD music. I cannot even talk with my group of people. Reggaeton and bachata all the way. You can have a mix of music and not that loud so it is gonna be an enjoyable experience. Time of service.. it was not that bad. They were busy but all was served in less than 20 minutes.

I had never heard of this place before, but my friend raved about them so we had to get some. They were very busy, but very nice. The vegetarian options are a little lacking, although zucchini was a nice surprise. The food itself was very interning. They're like giant, thick, quesadillas but instead of a flour tortilla it's made with maize and a TON of cheese. Theyre stuffed with the veggies or meat as well. It would have nice if I'd been able to add onions or customize it a bit more, but for the price, these were a steal! I will say that two was too many for me, as I could hardly finish one. They keep a little weird too so don't order too much.
