Rude, biased, and unprofessional — avoid this Subway if you’re not Indian

I’ve been to this Subway many times only because it’s close and open late, but the service has always been subpar. The sandwiches are barely filled, unlike other locations that actually give you what you pay for.

Tonight confirmed I’ll never go back. As my friend and I walked up (one black, the other white), we saw through the window how friendly and welcoming the employees were, all Indian, laughing and chatting with the Indian customers inside. The moment we walked in, everything changed. The entire store went silent and every single person, both customers and workers, turned to stare at us with nasty looks.

The woman who took our order clearly didn’t want to help us. Her attitude was cold, and she made the sandwiches painfully slowly, almost like she was going slow on purpose. She kept giving us dirty looks and never once said a word beyond what was necessary. When she finally rang us up, she didn’t give me a receipt or even ask, I had to request it, and she looked annoyed before handing it over.

While we were paying, a black guy came in and stood waiting with no one acknowledging him. The guy in the back only came out once the man stared in the back looking all confused. When he finally helped him, the two employees started laughing and speaking in a language we didn’t understand, clearly talking about one or all of us.

I don’t like making things racial, but the difference in treatment was obvious. If you’re not Indian, don’t expect to be treated with basic respect here. The food is stingy and the service is prejudiced. 0/10. Go...

Went in on Saturday to get a subway sandwich the Gentleman that work there is friendly but the lady that was working there on Saturday could not understand or speak English at all. I told her 3 times what I wanted to order she stood there with a blank stare. Finally the Gentleman that was working had explain what I was ordering then I had asked her to write what sandwich is which once again she started at me like she could not understand. NEVER again. Store looks great. service and quality however are lacking. Asked for a sandwich with cheddar. Before confirming the lady put a strange liquid cheddar on the sandwich like a more congealed version of macho cheese or something. It looked disgusting and not what we pictured when asking for cheddar at a sandwich place. When we explained that we didn’t want that the woman proceeded to scrape off the cheese substance.
