I had the EXACT SAME problem that another couple had 4 weeks ago. Glad to see that Terri is on top of handling this reoccurring problem with the store employees. I walked into the Aurora store, looked at the end cap of coats on sale that were across from the front register, then walked around the corner to look at the rest of the coats. While I was in that aisle a female employee was sneaking around me. I finally called her out by saying "Are you following me?" Before she ran off to get her reinforcement, I said "Just so you know, my dog has a Burberry coat from England before they sold dog coats in the United States", as their Burberry plaids on the end cap were Wannabe FAKES. When I was at the other end cap on the same aisle looking at the items that were on sale, I hear a different female employee behind me inquiring if I needed any help finding anything. I didn't even bother to turn around to address her when I said "No I am looking for things that I don't already have and came in while I am waiting for a pizza order." I then proceeded to look at the rest of the non edible items in the store. I found a large "buttercup" dog bed for $99.?? that I liked and that was it. I would have bought a new flea comb, if they had one worth buying. Despite having self bathing stations in the back of the store I found the grooming supplies to be very limited in selection, overpriced and of low quality, except for the orange handled nail clippers, that I have 3 of already. I also only purchase my dogs' fresh cut bones from a butcher, not frozen at pet stores. As I was exiting the front door, female #2 suddenly appeared behind me and was probably trying to look into my red, Cole Haan, bucket bag purse that was on my shoulder as I was only wearing leggings, 2 sleeveless tshirts, an unlined polar fleece jacket and a short pair of shearling boots. FYI: I ordered the Bowser bed ONLINE and SAVED OVER $25. Terri, from Corp, save your breath, I will NEVER step foot in another store EVER again regardless of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHollywood Feed in Aurora is the only place I will shop for our puppy Bo . He was 8 wks and a rescue when we adopted him . After noticing some digestive concerns w/him I realized I needed to switch his food to something better than what the rescue had him eating . I went online to research and seriously became a bit distraught over the huge debates online about what is the best food best ie: grain free, freeze dried, frozen raw , kibble w/choice grains etc - even veterinarians disagreeing w/one another. Each vet or dog owner relaying huge success stories and equally horrific stories w/various types . I went to Hollywood feed to talk to workers about my puppy issue and see what may have helped other customers . The employees were so helpful and knowledgeable. Lifesavers . I listened and made a decision . Within a matter of a few weeks switching to a better quality food every single digestive issue went away . They have a great price match policy , but also return policy as well (Bo doesnāt like chicken) . Now that we have settled in on one certain brand that Bo likes we even get a nice savings every 12th or 13th purchase of that particular brand. We love all the workers and seriously every shopping experience is met with friendly , kind workers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām so grateful for Jackās help at Hollywood Feed! I had been feeding my Pomeranians Orijen and Acana before they were bought by Mars, a company that doesnāt prioritize pets health and focuses more on profits by using low quality ingredients and fillers.
After I learned about the change, I was completely lost on what food to give them. They started scratching all day from severe rashes and discomfort due to the allergies caused by Mars changing the formula of these once great brands.
Thatās when Jack stepped in. He really listened to my concerns and requirements for a great dog food, one that is family owned and not part of a large corporation that I donāt trust.
Jack recommended Fromm dog food and I was impressed by his deep knowledge and the passion he has for his job. He took the time to explain why these brands would be a better fit for my dogs, and now their allergies are completely gone. Plus, they love the food!
This was my first time at Hollywood Feed and It will definitely be my new go to place for all my pets needs.
Thanks, Jack, for your time, expertise, and for making such a positive impact on my dogs health!
Jack you...
