Um, oh my GOD. My mouth is still watering and I had 2 donuts, and giant bites of two other donuts plus a delicious triple mocha latte. (Perfect temperature and doesn't burn your tongue btw, even freshly made! Super important because you don't want a burnt tongue before eating these delicious donuts I'm going to tell you about)
This place is everything your taste buds have been asking for. Variety is the spice of life.. each donut here is a mixture of comfy familiarity with notes of uniqueness, and every flavor hits your palette in just the right way. And the crunch is just right. Ahhh the warm, perfect crunch...mmm
I normally always take pictures if I'm going to leave a review, but my husband literally dragged me out of bed to go here at 8am on Valentine's day and I didn't have my phone! But I'll add pictures the next time we go because we will definitely be back. My husband said he's driven by and seen a sign that said they had sold out of everything for the day and I BELIEVE IT.
This is a family owned business by a husband & wife- this place is like the definition of leaving your day job to pursue your dream and it playing out AMAZINGLY WELL. I believe the wife is the chef in the back! The husband was so so kind and not overbearing- I would literally go back to just ask more about his life and how they decided to open this place!
Um let's talk about donuts again... So the campfire is chefs kiss for the chocolate monster in you... The olive pistachio?! I hate olives... I thought. I Loved it. It was one of my favorites! But on that note.. how do I choose a favorite? The cinnamon coffee cake is so well balanced and not too sweet but, similar to a nature valley bar, you're gonna need a napkin. And water. šBut omg GOOD. Matcha isn't my thing, but my husband loved it and honestly? I still don't like matcha, but this was the closest thing to ever convince me I might. And as for the coffee, it's the kind of coffee you can drink straight without adding anything else. No bitterness at all. Just wow.
I'm already dreaming of the next visit.. I want to try the celebration, the strawberry, the blueberry basil... The images of these gorgeous donuts are burned into my MIND.
Maybe this long review is thanks to the Caffeine but honestly... Caffeine just makes me think more clearly- and I can clearly see that Le Petit Three is...

Okay, first things first: the lady behind the counter was absolutely lovely and walked me through the drink and donut menu when I said Iād never visited before (and upsold me on a tasty latte I wasnāt planning to purchaseānicely done!). I was here 11/30 around 8am, so please give her a special thank you for being awesome.
Having worked for a donut chain that shall go unnamed (that gets their donuts shipped in rather than made fresh in-house), I was on a mission to find a solid local donut shop because Iād rather give a small and local business my money than a huge chain that treats their employees like trash.
The donuts: I love ābirthday cakeā flavored anything (I have a problem), and the ācelebration cakeā flavor (that I might have just eaten in the car before leaving) was AMAZING. Not cloyingly sweet and a hint of what Iām guessing is almond extract to elevate the flavor, so itās more reminiscent of a traditional wedding cake than birthday cake (hence the name, I suppose!)āand no complaints because that little guy was delicious.
Finally, I did notice that, unlike literally most restaurants, especially post-pandemic (and having been a restaurant worker for the last 20 years), there was not a ānow hiringā sign to be found. Consumers, this means that the owners are (hopefully) treating their employees properly, and thatās something of which we should all be cognizant when considering patronizing an establishment.
Long story short, the shop is clean and adorable (even the kitchen was VERY clean), the service is warm and welcoming and the donuts are FIRE. Go...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I ordered the assorted 4 pack of donuts, the iced horchata latte, and the B.E.C breakfast sandwich. My favorite item actually ended up being the B.E.C sandwich, lots good flavors and textures going on with the meal there. Each bite felt very well-rounded. The wrapping for the sandwich was also very cute/sweet. The donuts tasted fresh and overall had a rich flavor to them. They were more like cake donuts in terms of texture and taste better when slightly warmed, for me at least. I didnt taste a ton of difference in the icings for the four donuts I was given although the Maple Bacon donut did have the bacon on top that added additional flavor. Maybe it was just the flavors that I got and them being somewhat similar? Those were Maple Bacon, Nutella Expresso, Celebration Cake, Cacao on Choc. If I visit again, I'll have to try some of the other flavors that have more variance between them. The Iced Horchata Latte was good as well, wasn't overly sweet and still had that rice milk flavor. Staff were nice and I was able to pick up my order fairly quickly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very welcoming. The interior is very light and airy (almost like donuts) and some parts of the kitchen are open. The open parts of the kitchen looked clean from what I could see. Overall would definitely visit again but would maybe try some different...
