By far the best street tacos in Denver! (but don’t get it twisted it’s located on 6th & Chamber in Aurora & a second location on Kipling & Bowls in Littleton). In fact, it’s literally my favorite restaurant hands down. I have a Tacos Selene addiction so I always order 4 of the el pastor tacos (with everything: which is basically cilantro and onion) the el pastor (pork & pineapple) is slow cooked and season with a uniquely excellent juicy non-spicy red sauce. Plus at least 4 chilles torriatos (deep fried jalapeños which are btw free of charge) with a plethora of the “Selene” salsa (a homemade spicy red cream salsa) that is to absolutely die for. They also have all of your traditional Mexican food like tortes, amazing quesadillas, pupusas & menudo on Sundays! The staff are amazing! Desesa is always there greeting you on first name basis, Claudia is working the front register and never fails to put a smile on your face, all of the servers in fact are amazing and Enidino who also goes by “Dino” CEO and owner of Taco Selene named his family business after his first daughter “Selene” is as friendly and welcoming as they come. Here you feel like family. Let’s not forget Enidino’s nephew who runs the Littleton location along with his other younger daughter’s. There are also 2 Selene food trucks that cover various locations! To say the least Tacos Selene...
Read morethe service here is really great the customer service especially they get an order wrong the reason for the 1 star is that their food has gone downhill. Their tacos al pastor are so chewy and grainy. The menudo Is SPICY I had to water it down at home and still my gum was swollen. As we speak I am sweating. And I eat spicy food so yikes!😬. And it DOES NOT come with onion or cilantro or lime! just more chili 🙄 and the oregano. I ordered quesadilla twice. Barley no meat and the cheese was still cold both times shredded still I guess they were in a rush. Their tortas are always smashed!?! So unfortunately we will not be back anymore

Read moreThis place deserves its flowers. I usually call in ahead of time place my order because the line can get very long due to its popularity during lunchtime. I’ve recommended this place to family members and friends when I first tried it 10+ years ago & it became a staple of their cravings as well. The quality of everything is still amazing, the salsa bar is unmatched, & the prices are still very affordable compared to many other taco trucks/places. My personal favorites are the Barbacoa Sopes, pastor tacos, & the asada quesadilla. You can’t go wrong with anything here, everything will have you wanting more! Specifically this Tacos Selene & La Calle Taqueria off of Alameda & Tejon, & Tacos Sarabia off 56th & Joliet are the best tacos you’ll find in the Denver metro area. (Coming from someone who’s tried at least 40+...
