Just had a very unprofessional experience here at the Town. We are avid poker players and have been coming for poker every Saturday and Monday for the better part of a year now. We always have dinner and drinks, typically a bill of 30 to 50 each time and many times much more. Poker last a few hours and the Town doesn't sell coffee so sometimes we will get coffee in the middle of the game. It has never been a problem in the past. Many times there are people who will bring cookies/cupcakes and other snacks for the poker games and that's never been an issue either. Tonight however our 2 coffees were a problem. We had a 30 dollar open tab and in the middle of a poker tournament and we were told we couldn't have our coffees. The manager "Jordan" short blonde hair (could pass for male or female) was very inappropriate. She sent the bar back to speak with us, couldn't even come introduce herself the proper way. When she did come over after we asked twice for management she was very rude and confrontational. Since we have never has issues with it in the past we were unaware it was a problem. She offered no resolution for the matter. We were expected to throw away the 6 dollars we spent or leave in the middle of the poker game. Obviously not great options as we value our poker scores. We then asked for the owners information because this was handled so poorly and she refused to give us any information about how we could speak to the owner when he/she was in next. We both work in the restaurant and business industry as bar managers and would never handle an issue in this manner. We fully intend to speak with the owner so they are aware of poor management and will not be returning with our business. Poker is available at plenty of other bars around and we will gladly go where our money is wanted and not treated...
Read morecame here on 3/5/23 The wings are not that great like these other reviews said. There is no breading they look like Aldi frozen wings. They are skinny no breading, dry for the buffalo the bbq was sauced properly. The bloody Mary on a Sunday at 4pm came with only a lemon and lime not even an olive. Never had I not had at least olives served in a bloody. I had to ask for an olive from a different server who made a pepperoni, celery, olive pickle stick for me. It's funny cause my original server that took my order when I asked how is the bloody said well I make them so they are good. Well the attitude I receive from the waiter was ridiculous. Made it seem like I inconvinced him being at the establishment. My daughter and I went to play the pin ball. I stuck the $2.00 in for 3 plays and of coarse it's broken. Instead of plugging the machine or putting a sign on it, they leave it on and it's not their problem, i have to call the manufacturer. I will not be returning here. Also the woman's bathroom could use a good scrub along base boards and dividers of the stall and floor. The pricing of items isn't worth this type of establishment nor...
Read moreThe Town Bar and Grill is a neighborhood joint that serves up good food and good vibes. As a frequent visitor to "The Town" I can say that without question the wait staff is attentive, remembers your order from previous visits, understands the menu and gives drink recommendations from their large selection of tapped and bottled beers. From the menu, my personal favorites include the chicken tenders, crinkle cut fries, BLT, burgers and chicken wings. I've never had a bad experience here. Onto the review. I give The Town Bar and Grill a 5 star rating for excellent personal service, attention to detail and warm ambiance to get together for a few "cold ones" and a few memories with family and friends. Until next time this is Robbie the Review Guy wishing you and yours good eats...
