I had the Arabic shawarma plate here and tried both the chicken shawarma and the lamb & beef shawarma â and it was amazing! The flavors were very authentic and reminded me of real Middle Eastern street food, but still had a freshness and taste that stood out. The garlic sauce was spot on, and there was plenty of it (which is always a must with shawarma).
The food came out quickly, and everything was hot and fresh. The brother running the truck was very kind and courteous â you can tell he really cares about the food and the customers. Itâs rare to find service like that these days.
Thereâs also a good amount of outdoor seating, which makes it easy to sit, relax, and enjoy your meal right there. Plus, theyâre open late, which is perfect when youâre craving something flavorful and filling at night.
And of course, everything is halal â which makes it even better. Overall, this is one of the best food trucks in Austin for authentic Arabic/Mediterranean food. Highly recommend if you want great shawarma, good vibes, and...
Read moreThis food trailer is by far the best shawarma spot in the entire Austin area hands down. The quality of food has never changed since I started eating shawarma from here about a year ago. In the beginning they had limited hours or every time I visited they were closed. But since last year they have been consistent with their business hours and always open whenever I go by with my family and friends. Beef and chicken shawarma is to die for. The taste is EPIC and very authentic. I also tried kubba and it's delicious đ. Which comes with one pita bread, salad and hummus. Everything has gone up just like everything else. I am glad if they have gone up in price the size hasn't shrunk yet... And shouldn't. I also have tried their lintel soup and it's filling. Will continue to explore their menu further in next visit and maybe I will remember to take few pictures for y'all.
I highly recommend this place if you have taste for Mediterranean food. It's 10...
Read moreI came around 8:30pm on a Friday night, and it wasnât too pack. Based on the menu picture, I ordered the kebab, and the guy told me that the meat was a mix of lamb and beef. I also ordered the tikka, and he told me that the meat is chicken. When I got the food, it didnât look like the picture in the menu. The tikka was delicious. It came as a plate full of chicken even under the tomato and rice. It had salad, hummus, and pita bread included. The hummus was smooth and had a more charred taste to it. The salad was sour and complimented the chicken. I would get it again since it could actually feed two people. The kebab looked more like a large empanada than what I was expecting. It was good too with juicy meat and tomato inside and cost $10. In my opinion, the tikka was more worth it and cost around $16. There are some tables to sit outside. I also wanted to try the okra, but it...
