Delicious, home-made, friendly. My friend and I went on a Friday evening around 630 and had a PERFECT girl's night. The girl who took our order was super friendly and answered our questions. I can't have dairy or gluten and was delighted to find that the only thing on the menu I couldn't have was the pita! That's right, everything else is entirely gluten-free and dairy-free!n Sooo naturally we ended up trying almost everything 🤣 The falafels are DELICIOUS - perfectly crunchy crust with fresh, pillowy inside and such amazing flavor. There are far too many bad falafels in Austin so do yourself a favor and try these. We also got the mushroom hummus, shawarma hummus, cabbage salad, and the other veggie salad (can't remember what it's called), along with every sauce they had. Everything was simple but executed two perfection. My friend got the shawarma pita and said the pita bread was heavenly 🤤 Do yourself a favor and grab a bottle of wine from Cork & Screw + a sampler of BaLaFa's menu and have a fantastic meal! I'll definitely be going back 🥳🥰

Amazing food ! Just like back in my hometown in the Middle East. The portions are generous and with a great value. Friendly and caring staff and superb environment. I only wish they would be open during the week too.

LET’S FRICK’N GO DUDE this place rocks. Did the cooks make me take shots with them? Yes indeed they did but they were getting 5 stars regardless cause the food BANGS. They’ve got like 5 different sauces with names i cant pronounce, tried all of them, awesome. Weirdly incredible pickles. Hummus amazing. Falafel amazing. They ran out of shawarma (good sign) but i heard it was killer.

Cute girl named Romy ran the...

I paid $16 for a laffa which is supposed to be a very big pita but it was tiny. Looking on the pitas that other people got they were also tiny.

To lesser upsetness since you eat in an open area you also have mosquitos biting you and rain on

Regardless of the fact that this run by israelis like me - it is not like having food in israel where the pitas and laffas...
