Came here for brunch on a Saturday with a few friends. It is a trailer, but there is no parking lot in front of it. It's attached to a bike shop, but you can't park there and most places around it have signs stating that you would be towed. There is a sign that says to park in the neighborhood, so you have to go look for street parking, there is ample room, but this weekend we got the last street parking spot that was near by.
There was a 40 minutes wait for the food to be done, I guess they were behind on orders, but he did tell us there was a wait before we placed our order which was nice. There is outdoor picnic style benches next to the trailer that you can sit and eat at. It wasn't so bad for us to wait since there are a few tables under the shade. The other tables were in the sun and I could only imagine how terrible that would have been to wait in the heat for a little under an hour. There are a ton of flies in the sitting area though, it got quite annoying to sit there and deal with them. There isn't any fans so after about 20 minutes the heat was pretty terrible, since there was no air movement.
The food looked really good when they were serving it to other people. The portion size is pretty large as well. When we received our order, the food was lukewarm, which is a little disappointing since we waited so long. I had asked for extra crispy bacon, but I was told they made everything in batches so that wasn't possible for me to request it to be made a specific way. Half of my biscuit order was really good, and the other half was tiny biscuits and way over done. I added an order of potatoes and it was a ketchup cup sized order.... a little tiny in my opinion.
Overall everyone in my party felt it was okay, but nothing that made us feel it was worth the wait or the driving to find parking, and sitting outside. We were left slightly less impressed than we were all hoping for. I'm not really sure I would recommend this place...
Read moreIf you’re craving for biscuits and gravy, this is not the place for you. The wait times don’t make sense and the food is such lackluster fare. I honestly don’t know how this place is as popular as it is. I tried the original biscuits and groovy and it was disappointing. The biscuits tasted like they were premade biscuits of the pillsbury variety. The gravy tasted like it was premade gravy straight out of a jar. The sausages were clearly just precooked circle patties chopped up. Maybe the biscuits and the gravy actually are made from scratch but it doesn’t excuse their mundane taste.
Considering the premade taste of the food, why does it take so long to complete orders? I went on a slow time with only one order ahead of me and it still took 20 minutes to get my food. How time consuming is it to cut open biscuits, cover in gravy and top off with sausage? I would understand the time if the biscuits were fresh but my food didn’t even come out hot. I just don’t get it.
If you do like their food, I suggest you just save yourself some money and the trouble of wait times and trying to find parking and just go pick up some biscuit dough and a jar of white gravy. For people who actually want an elevated biscuit and gravy culinary experience,...

I visited Biscuits and Groovy on Saturday 6/28 at 10:26 am. And had a very disappointing experience. There were two associates working: one was friendly and professional, while the other was incredibly rude.
I ordered the Johnny and politely asked the cashier if she could make sure there was a fair amount of gravy on it. I also acknowledged that I’d pay extra if needed. I mentioned that in past visits, the amount of gravy, bacon, or sausage had been inconsistent, and I was just hoping to get the same great quality I had on my first visit.
Instead of responding with basic courtesy, the cashier rolled her eyes, said, "I can't deal with this," walked away, and essentially refused to take my order—telling me she didn’t have to explain anything. It was humiliating and uncalled for.
Thankfully, the other associate stepped in and tried to make it right, but by then the damage was done. I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome.
I don’t know if this was racially motivated or just someone having a bad day, but either way, that kind of attitude toward a paying customer is unacceptable. I won’t be returning, and I encourage others to be cautious with where they choose to spend...
