I starred working with Kyle in Crossfit about 5 years ago now. I had been warned about Crossfit before from my friends but Kyle was meticulous about teaching all of us in class about proper technique before lifting heavy weight to ensure no injury. I did the Momentum program with Kyle, and the main thing that made it so special was how receptive he was of my feedback. He could break down scientific research findings, provide personal anecdotes, and make information digestible: why certain food groups are essential, why certain workout techniques are necessary for muscle growth, etc. However, when I realized what things were working for me or not, I felt confidence that he would always respond with helpful alternatives.
