This place makes such good burritos. Let's say that I went here twice. The one time I went it was stupidly crowded and I was like forget that. The second time it was a lot better. The first time I went was 1pm and the second after 3pm. Anyways, I looked first at the reviews before I went and all the pictures were of the menu but do not worry I have many pictures. I got the veggie or vegan burrito and did the wife. First off you get to pick from meat or vegan, then you pick your toppings, then you pay. Simple but there were many choices to pick with going the vegan way which was awesome because the burrito was big and it only cost like 8 bucks. You can get a soda and as many refills you want but be warned mostly all have sugar and only three did not. I'm talking about diet coke and diet Dr pepper. When I go next I would get water. Yes I would go again for sure and my wife who is vegan would too. She did say that everything tastes fresh. I could not tell. They do have other stuff like nachos, tacos, bowels, etc and also they have a kids item which is cool. All in all good places to spend your money, oh my wife said it's better than Chipotle. Check out pictures. I what I could before people started looking at me.

Cabo Bob's is one of my local Austin favorites. High quality and a variety of ingredients to make good food. I personally think it's way better than Chipotle. You can get a variety of dishes from burrito bowls, burritos, salads, quesadillas, and nachos!!! The burritos are the size of a baby's head. Another great part about Cabo Bob's is they have a variety of tortillas: flour, smoky cheddar, ancho chili, and cilantro tomatillo. I'm fan of them all but smokey cheddar is probs my favorite. They also cook the tortillas fresh in front of you. All the ingredients are fresh and made on site. Their proteins are flavorful from the usuals chicken, steak, pork. They also have more unique ones like brisket and fried fish. I love the fried fish tacos or burritos. My go to order is a surf and turf burrito. Smoky cheddar tortilla, steak and fried fish loaded with all the veggies. Pro tip you can get half orders of certain proteins if you want a variety. Cabo Bob's does it well. Huge portions and quality ingredients. The line is long but the service is fast! Another great tip they have punch cards for you to get rewarded.

Standing in line today, I heard someone behind me say, "It's like Chipotle." I somehow fought the urge to turn around and correct them. Y'all. Cabo Bob's is the best burrito in town. They have more selection and more ways to make my lunch than Chipotle can DREAM of. Don't get me wrong, Chipotle is in more places and can scratch that burrito itch but I prefer a variety of options and CB's delivers. I can eat something different every day; fish tacos on Monday, steak burrito on Tuesday, chicken bowl for Wednesday, brisket nachos for Thursday, and a salad on Friday. Also, that almost gets me a free burrito with their punch cards. The food is fresh, the hot sauce is legit, and the sour cream is included! They have 3 kinds of beans, they've got squash, the queso is badass, and the chips are thick and crunchy. They make and cook your tortilla of choice right in front of you! Trust me, hit this place up. You won't regret finding one of the best lunch spots possible.

Cabo bobs has really gone downhill. I ate here a bit about 2 years ago and hadn't gone back since today. I remembered how good and decadent the food was so I talked it up to my partner and we went for dinner. The quality has gone downhill. The service was fine and the atmosphere is what you'd expect for a fast casual restaurant but what's really sad is the food.

I ordered a chicken burrito with guacamole, two kinds of salsa, onions, sour cream, cheese. There was no guacamole on it even though I paid extra and no cheese. All the sourcream was in a glob at the bottom of the burrito but they pretty much just stuffed the burrito with the cheap ingredients (rice and beans). There was no salsa on it either even though I requested two kinds. The chicken had several bones in it and I kept having to spit out my bites due to this.

The queso was the other sad part of the night. The queso used to be so thick and cheesy. This queso was watery as heck and tasted pretty much like salty milk. They also only filled half the container.

It's clear to me cabo bobs is trying to make more money and spend less between the watered down queso, overloading of rice and skimping of toppings, bad quality meat and small portion of queso.

My partner ordered double steak. The steak was incredibly tough and it was the same amount as the normal serving of chicken in my burrito. Again, they're Cleary trying to give you less and have you pay more.

Save your money and go to chipotle instead. What a disappointment overall. This is not cheap food so why is the quality so...

First visit to Cabo Bob's Burritos on Anderson Lane for lunch. Although I have heard good things about this place, every time I drive by? It's always so crowded so I just go somewhere else. So I decided, even though I was tight on time, to stop anyways and see what happens. If it's too packed I will just leave. The parking lot is very misleading, finally found a parking spot, the lot was full. I walk in and there might have been 8 guests in the entire restaurant. Like I said, first visit so stood back and read the menu, knew what I thought I might get so just winged it. I got a bowl and just told them what I wanted in it. I had a lot of different items in it but my protein was chicken. They also have other proteins to chose from. I must say it was quite tasty! There is plexiglass between you and the employees, they were all wearing masks and gloves. The items to chose from at each station are on the glass. I must say it was quite challenging to hear or even tell the servers what I wanted because of the glass and masks but I made it through. It was a lot of food for the price, I was quite surprised at checkout.

I have always been a Freebirds fan and had heard that Cabo Bob's was similar, is one of the reasons I wanted to try it. Cabo Bob's just has different ingredients to chose from, gives it a little different taste.

All in all I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back again in the future. Thanks Cabo Bob's Burritos for making good food to eat and my...

I was a big fan and a regular at this place up until today. I walked into order one adult burrito and one kids burrito to go. I'd never ordered a kids burrito before, and apparently there's a limit on the number of items that you can choose from each section. I didn't know this. and the people building my burrito made quite a fuss about adding vegetables to a kids chicken burrito. then when I moved over to the cold fixings I asked for cilantro, lettuce, and cheese, and they added cilantro and then proceeded to let me know that was all they could add to it because I had added veggies and wasn't supposed. when I let them know that I was very confused about the kids burrito policy I felt terrible for holding up the line and they wouldn't add my ingedients. I explained to them that i didn't want to pay for something that wasn't made to order so and they proceeded to start throw the burrito away. the customers behind me asked for the burrito and they said it was free and asked if they wanted to add anything else to their (formerly my, formerly, trash, but now free) burrito... what????

I can't support / condone a business that would rather waste food than work with customers.

the manager DID offer to comp the meal and she offered chips and drinks and was very apologetic about it. ... but ... why did this happen in the first place? I really just needed my order and I need to know that restaurants aren't okay with throwing food away and spiting customers just-because. nobody walks in for...
