My kids and sister's fam joined us around 2:30 or so on a Monday afternoon. The place was pretty empty, although a few families showed up as we were leaving. The building is shared on one side with Yard Bar (with a dog park attached) and just the kitchen inside, and outside they had covered and open seating, tvs, picnic tables, lounge chairs, fire tables, a playground, mini golf, and a small turfed soccer area. The outside area was mostly upkept although I think it was starting to look a little unkept, parking was plenty, and they had a station to bus your own dishes and get water. The food was decent overall- we ordered the Yard Bird, Firestarter Burger, All Nighter, and Lil' Campers (Kids) Chicken Tenders & Burger, as well as a Cappuccino. I took off a star for the following reasons. The guy working the window didn't seem at all interested in answering my questions about the menu and the place, but when I just stood there and waited for him to give a satisfactory answer he went to find someone to ask. When I received my Yard Bird, the chicken was fried to a dark brown, so I went back up and asked about it. I didn't get much of an answer so I asked a few different ways i.e. "Is it supposed to be this burned", " Does it usually look like this", "Do y'all cook it a certain way because fried chicken doesn't usually look like this", etc. His response was "I don't know, what do you want me to say?" He finally asked the cook and said the fryer had "temped out" because it was the end of a long weekend. He did not offer to replace it, just get me something different off the menu. We settled on me trying it and then bringing it back up if I didn't like it. I went to sit back down and ate the chicken sandwich (oh also my kids' tenders weren't dark brown- see pics) and it was fine enough. The guy did come by while bringing something else out for someone else and asked if it was okay so at least he checked in. The bathroom was also pretty gross and could definitely use a cleaning. Overall I would return because our littles had fun and it's a fun vibe, but the service and food could use some improvement.

My wife and I came here on a Sunday afternoon to bring our dog and try some new food. She ended up getting the Yard Bird and her chicken was beyond burnt, the sandwich itself was dry and they were out of pickles. I ordered the grilled cheese which was edible - however, I did not expect a giant slab of cheese on top. The menu itself had so many items marked as not available. The real reason we came was to treat our dog - and they were out of all dog food items and offered us a pup cup instead. The campfires were not lit and the tables were grimey. We wanted this to be our new Sunday spot, but after this experience, we won’t be returning.

The food was cold and mid. Service was not spectacular. The person helping on the restaurant side was nice, but the person on the yard bar side expected that we had been there before. Once we said we weren’t sure of what she was talking about (and after we put all our info in) she finally told us welcome after she realized that we were new. She told us our dog in the yard bar had to be on leash ( now looking back I believe she misspoke but us as new customers knew no better and became very confused.) and explained to us it was 9 dollars to enter. We were there for food so we were very confused. That’s when she realized we were new. I asked if we could eat in the yard bar area and she replied “that would attract dogs and that would literally be insane.” (Yes that’s what she said verbatim). Which then confused us more because we were told inside yard bar they had to be leashed at all times and were not allowed specific shock collars.so once this confusion was done she realized we hadnt been there before and told us to go around back for food. I was very confused after being told my dog had to be on leash in the yard, I was confused what the difference was in the yard bar and in the back would be. Once we made it to the back we ordered our food. I asked for a dog bowl and was directed to the bottom bus tub to a dirty bowl and was told “ If you need water let me know.” In which I replied….. “yes I need water.” Because why am I asking for a dog bowl to not fill it with water???? I retrieved a dirty bowl from the tub and there was standing water in it. Any dog owner knows that bacteria can grow from standing water. Further examination I saw remnants of old food. i asked for it to be wiped out. The staff did clean it which was appreciated. As a “dog friendly” establishment and marketed to be a dog place I was very disappointed with how it played out. . I’ve never been to an establishment with dirty water bowls and was told to grab from a dirty busy tub. Wile ordering my dog was hit with a stray golf ball (directly beside where you’re supposed to order your food.) which furthered the distain for the place. Furthermore. The food that I ordered was a salad for my partner and black bean burger with fries and turkey meatballs for my pup. Both came cold. The fries were cold and the turkey meatballs were cold. The burger came out as advertised, but was mediocre and the salad was good but nothing special. The atmosphere was great and one of the workers was kind. She helped us light the fire and brought our drinks to us which we recognize she didn’t have to do. Overall the place made me not want to return. The only upside was the esthetic and the one worker. Overall, overhyped, underperformed and...

The dog side was fun and the workers there were great. But the food side of the business needs some work. Very immature service from the staff. Rude and inconsiderate. Food was cold. Wait was long even with no other guests getting food. You would expect they could offer the bare minimum but they seem to hate their jobs. Eye rolls galore. Probably should have known the food side was subpar as everyone was on dog side vs food side. A lot of better places to go in ATX if you have a dog.

Also, online menu is apparently out of date. Were out of most items on their menu with everything out on their dog menu. The menu board on their building had a lot of items covered up with tape when we got there. Overall,...
