Today was my first visit to Chi’lantro ever!!! I was really intimidated at the beginning because I had never tried Korean Bbq before. I considered ordering my food through an app because of the quarantine, but decided I needed to get out of the house today for at least one thing. When I arrived, Julia welcomed us in with great energy, even as her and the rest of the staff diligently worked through all of the online orders. Brandon then asked what we would be ordering, and I told him it was my first time and so he kindly made a few suggestions. He was very helpful!! I placed two orders of kimchi fries and wings for my friend and I. As they prepared the to-go fries, one finished putting the topping on while the other finished the packaging and cheered each other on their team effort. Throughout the process, Julia said “Welcome” and “Thank You” to everyone that walked in and out of Chi’lantro. I could’ve chosen anywhere else to eat, on my one and only trip out of the house this week, but I’m so happy I chose chilantro! This place was a VIBE and everything the world needs right now.
If you’re reading this you’re probably wondering what the food tasted like. THE FOOD WAS BOMB!
Thanks, Chi’lantro!! Wil...

Only issue I had $cash-money$ not accepted. The nice lady at the register defended policy stating it insured a higher standard of sanitation (luckily I had a card). No argument, money is filthy but having first tried to pay in cash I was annoyed. Not surprised. Often I've suspected cards/plastic will be all that's available to the general public, we'd receive nothing but electronic deposits in accounts assigned to all warranted citizens. The banks and fed having exclusive access to physical legal tender. One generation down the line won't know what a dollar looks like, or feel the difference between a crisp new dollar and an old limp one. My partner pointed out how a no cash policy discriminates, possibly made to exclude customers who could be considered unsavory for business. Food, yummy and hit the spot. I'll suggest the chicken wings w/sauce and a side of street corn. Restaurant was clean and decorative but imo the selection of tables and chairs as well as space used needs a revisit. All staff interaction...
Read moreWent in last night, 3/11/19, around 7:30pm. There was one young girl helping a family who was placing a large order. Another young girl with a hair net came out to help her with an order of fries. I stood in line behind them waiting for over 5 minutes while they slowly continued to order their food. There were 2-3 young men just standing around talking while the 2 girls helped each other handle the large families order. Not one person recognized me to say we will be right with you. Not one of the guys just standing around doing nothing took an initiative to help me with my order. So I just walked out. This is the second time I’ve given this location a chance. Both times this has occurred. Not a busy store. But it does have a lack of accountability and proper customer service. Which I believe begins and ends with management. If a manager is away and the staff does this, they are not doing their job. Worse is if the manager is there and this occurs. I will never go back to this location and I suggest others...
