Denny's — Restaurant in Austin

Went in for a late night dinner, walked in to our server screaming some thing about curb stomping…should have walked out with that. When we were led to our table, he made a comment of, “I would seat you at the bar, but you look like appetizer people, so let’s get you some elbow room”…sir are you calling us fat? Again we made the mistake of staying. We placed our order, mine was a skillet no cheese. Nothing fancy or crazy. My boyfriends order came out very quickly, chicken fried steak with the pancake side, and I waited patiently as mine “warmed up” After a few moments we hear the server loudly saying “this was not supposed to have cheese, remake it” then came up to the table apologizing that it needs to be remade, it is just take a minute. He then went back to the kitchen window and started screaming at kitchen staff, using all sorts of explicit language that “they messed up, just do what I asked” coming back to the table I was offered mozzarella sticks while I wait…..for my no cheese entree. I told him there was no need to yell at kitchen staff, I can be patient, he keeps saying “oh they LOVE, fighting with me, I am very combative”..sir we can tell. He mentioned that he will comp the meal, which was appreciated. At this point the entire restaurant was staring at him, the other tables he was waiting on seemed afraid to talk to him. Upon checkout he mentioned that it was his birthday and reminded us that he comped the meal, “so a $20 tip would be great” We have been going for a while now, and unfortunately we keep saying “maybe this time is a fluke and it will get better” It won’t, expect cheap food and crap service, but at least...

Went here 3 times every 2 weeks, the 1st time they didn't bring my main course and wanted to charge for it, 2nd they forgot our drinks and only gave us water and the 3rd time was today I asked for the waiter to give us 3 mnts for us to order and she didn't came because she was on the phone after 30 mnts she came when she finally notice we were waving then to top it off the lady after 40 minutes of my wife finish she asked if I wanted the order I asked for!!!.... really bad experiences even tho there was only us 2 when we...

A roach lowkey fell on our table while we were speaking to the server and she scooped it up in a napkin while we all stared at eachother mouths agape, she didn’t speak very clearly and just mumbled something about them coming out at night then walked off. Can’t complain about the food though I love Denny’s, would just recommend this franchise owner to invest in some pest...
