This is the fourth experience Iāve had at summer moon where the barista/cashier has treated me like a burden and like Iām incompetent. The pretentious attitude is genuinely so unnerving that Iām honestly never coming back here again, which frankly seems like the point theyāre making. Todayās encounter was so weird that I honestly had to ask myself, did I do something to her and forgot? I worked as a server for 12 years, I know how hard it is, I know customers can suck. I approach service workers with empathy and compassion and always tip generously no matter what, because Iāve been there. so the attitude towards me is truly so confusing and unfounded. One of the girls consistently looks at me like Iām an absolute moron for my order after saying howdy and tricking me into thinking itās going to be friendly encounter... Instead of helping I get this pretentious attitude and feeling of belittlement because the menu has quirks Iām still figuring out. Another girl wonāt say a word to you when you come to the counter but stare at you and wait for you to say something. Itās as if sheās trying to convey that she doesnāt need or have to greet you, so just get to the point. This confuses me bc I donāt want to bother her if sheās thinking about another order or maybe doing the drive through. she will make snarky rude looks at her coworkers while eavesdropping on your conversations with a worker. Itās happened so many times now that itās no longer something Iām chalking up to coincidence or a personal issue within myself. Both of these people know exactly who they are and I hope you choose kindness in the future. I started coming here recently to get out of the house while dealing with severe postpartum depression, trying to get my ānormalā back. You never know what someone is going through so consider being kinder.
Iām leaving 5 stars because I do not believe it is right for customers to have the ability to destroy someoneās business on the internet. But my experience here has consistently been 1 star despite how delicious...

While the staff is very friendly and the coffee is excellent, I have grown tired of the continued pastry supply issues.
They are nearly always out of everything before 10am, especially on Fridays. In particular, they have a known problem of not having enough chocolate toasters. They are the flavor they get the least quantity of and are also a customer favorite, so getting one is akin to getting Eras Tour tickets. One time I was standing at the counter and ordered one while looking right at it, had it rung up, and the employee at the drive thru swooped in and took it. The counter employee didnāt even stop them or say anything about how I had just ordered that and was about to pay for it. Absolutely ridiculous. It shouldnāt be that cutthroat for a dang pastry. What kind of store manager is aware of that issue and just lets it continue? On top of that, they donāt have much (if anything) else to choose from most of the time so I just end up going hungry that day.
I have been choosing this location over the one close to my house specifically for the pastry options and now I just end up regretting that...

Lately Iāve been finding myself having to double check my order, thereās a few new people that have been rotating in the drive thru window, and I order the exact same drink each time, a 12oz. half moon, and my last few orders have came out as a SummerMoon. If you know this place then youāll know these 2 drinks are 2 very different drinks, I order the half because itās the perfect ratio of coffee to cream, the summer moon is just extremely sweet and extremely unpleasant even if you are a sweet coffee drinker. I can tell the difference immediately and I hate that I have been having to double check my drinks before I leave, itās frustrating not to be able to get your exact order and instead having to walk back into the store to get the correct drink. I wish I can see some of the old workers that used to work the window, where things would be smooth. Hoping they correct...
