Good food, HORRIBLE SERVICE!! Our group of twelve arrived for dinner a little before 9:30. Considering they close at 10 and the dining hall was fairly empty we figured this would be smooth and easy. Unfortunately we didn't account for the female employee behind the counter being extremely rude and impatient with us. Apparently they had received several takeout orders and she was more concerned with customers arriving to pick up said orders. It was difficult to get our orders in. The staff kept stepping away from the counter to attend to pick up customers. When asking questions about a couple of entrees and how they are prepared/served, the staff member became visibly frustrated. While she maintained a professional tone, the pointed responses were unnecessary and the spirit of service just was not present. Worse was when we attempted to use a highly circulated promo code we received via email for $5 off $25, she said you may not use it since one member in your party already applied that coupon. However, we had multiple people in our party who had received their own coupons at their respective email addresses, placing separate orders and using different credit cards. Per the rules of one coupon per customer, this should be permitted. When we asked her to reconsider she said, "Oh no, rules are rules. We are closing soon." What does closing soon have to do with applying a valid coupon? She was more concerned with going home than serving the customer. She was lumping all of us as one customer and just being cheap and petty; pinching pennies. Sadly this is fairly common in a foreign-owned business - $$ before service. Food was not bad, in fact it was good. I would like to go again, however, the poor service ruins the dining experience and gives me pause. Should there be no other alternative, I may think long and hard...

Masala Wok is hands down our favorite dinner spot, especially when we’re craving something flavorful before catching a movie. This place perfectly blends Indian and Asian cuisines, offering a diverse menu that’s packed with delicious options for any mood.

My go-to dish is the Chicken Kadai Biryani, with its fragrant, perfectly spiced rice and tender chicken—it never disappoints. Another must-try is the Chicken Rice and Noodles, a satisfying mix of fried rice and stir-fried noodles loaded with chicken and veggies.

For those craving Indian classics, their Butter Chicken with Naan is phenomenal. The creamy, rich butter chicken paired with soft, warm naan is comfort food at its finest. On the Asian side, the Burnt Garlic Fried Rice is a standout, with its smoky, garlicky flavor and a perfect balance of textures. Masala Wok also offers Mongolian, Thai as well as Chinese-inspired favorites.

The casual and inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and consistently fresh, flavorful dishes make every visit enjoyable. Whether you’re dining in, grabbing takeout, or ordering online, Masala Wok hits the spot every time.

If you’re looking for bold, satisfying flavors with a mix of Indian and Asian dishes, Masala Wok is the place to be. Perfect for biryani lovers and anyone seeking an affordable,...

I live closer to the other location in the Arbor walk, but I work closer to this one. I like this location for it's parking, not as many speed bumps to go through. There is up front parking at this location too if you are lucky enough to get that spot. The owner always seems to be at whichever location I go to, I'm starting to think he is a twin haha.

But anyways, the service is always great and the food is always spot on, I never have an issue here. I love the food, it's always to order and delicious. I always get the Butter Chicken Masala and it's delicious every time. The nann has it's up and downs, I've decided that it never tastes as good togo, it gets all soggy and not as fluffy and nice when you eat there. The best thing ever is the chicken quesadilla, sounds crazy, but it really is amazing, just try it once you won't be disappointed.

They have a frequent member program that just uses your number, it's a pretty good deal. I would say that if you like it definitely sign up for it. It can get busy at this location during lunch hours...

We LOVE Masala wok! We have eaten here numerous times and I definetely have some family favourites that I want to mention. Their Thai Pepper Rice are addictive...the serving size is amazing and usually its enough for two adults if you pair it with an appetizer. My kids favourite meal plan is thr yummy noodles at masala wok. They are the happiest when we decide to eat here. We also like the Chicken Quesadillas in the kids section. Again serving sizes are sooo generous. I also like their Chicken 65. I personally feel their thai and chinese entrees are better than the desi ones. But if you are in Texas its a must try... love their service and we never get dissapointed after eating here! Highly recommended!

So, I really like masala wok. My select items taste good, and have been consistent. That's what matters to me, not whether it's "authentic" or not. My favs are Hakka Noodles (get without the cabbage otherwise that overpowers the entire dish). Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken with your protein of choice and spice level. Comes with rice and naan. They revamped their menu at some point so now they have Indian spiced wings which I have to try. I had the biryani about a decade ago and didn't like it too much. But that's okay, that's what Zaviya Grill is for. Still reasonably priced (for 2024) and deals on Tuesday and points on the app. Thumbs up from me.
