Dimassi's has been my go to Mediterranean buffet for quite some time. I used to live down the street so I used to come here once a week but it had been some time so I decided to stop with Mrs.
We were so hungry. I forgot to take pictures of the outside location so I do apologize but we did start taking pictures of the inside.
It was the weekend so lucky for us lamb shake was included with the buffet today at a price of $25 per person.
As soon as you walk in you don't have to meet anybody or talk to anybody. You just grab a plate and start serving yourself as you will pay for your food at the end of the meal.
I suggest you start on the outside edge where you can get your greens and salads. My wife likes the grape leaves.
As you round the corner, you will see the dessert section. You're going to have to skip it and keep hanging left to where you see the drink station.
Here you'll find some of the more conventional items like french fries and stuff that some youngins might like. Then you start moving towards the more traditional Mediterranean dishes like the pieces of lamb, chicken, fish and a lot of other great entrees
You'll have plenty of rice to choose from with multiple selections and flavors. And last but not least on the end of this portion of the buffet is some soup usually lentil.
As you turn around, you're created with the awesome brick oven where make all their bread fresh. You'll get a choice of a couple of selections. The new to me cheese bread was fantastic but I really do like their traditional pita bread.
When you get to the drink station there is Pepsi products, but the real stars are the tamarind and the rose water. All drinks are included in the buffet so you might as well enjoy!
Once you're done eating, you get a chance to get over to the dessert section that we saw earlier and you're greeted with baklava stacks on stacks. There's also a milk bread and a cookie pretty good.
Once you're ready to leave, walk out to the front of the counter and you might have to wait for somebody to appear. It's pretty self-service pretty much the whole way through. There is a station of coffee that you can take shots of Aunt. You can have it while you wait. Once you make your payments you know you can tip the bus staff and the cooking staff at time of payment.
The only reason I gave four stars for service is because your reliant on the busters to come by and pre-busing doesn't happen as often as you like
Overall always a pleasant experience can get very crowded at night, but there is enough to accommodate at least 100...
Read moreWhat a shame this place is. We love the Dimassi on the other location. Always fresh hot food, clean tables and amazing service. As a big food and travel blogger I miss traditional Mediterranean food. We saw a new location opened and wanted to try it out. Let’s start by how dirty the place is. Every table was filled with piles of leftover food, plates and stains. Flies love the place. The salads are okay and the hummus is normally amazing. Like the place advertises, fresh and warm pita, but then leave fresh and warm out. Rock and rock hard pitas. We asked nicely if there was some fresh bread available and all we got back was a. “Finish what’s there”. We didn’t take it too serious cause she must have had an awful day. We 10 minutes later asked it once again , to someone else , that kindly told us Ofcourse. But while walking back to the kitchen the other lady interrupted the man and said we have to wait till the other 4 left over pitas are finished.
The host didn’t care about us wanting to pay and took his time on his phone. He asked us how the food was and when we kindly mentioned how it was , all he did was laugh in our faces. He did make sure he mentioned there was space To leave a tip.
The place was not too full but for sure had some people. When another table heard us asking about some things they mentioned they felt the same.
Literally every dish was cold, chicken was pink and the desserts have never looked so sad. Every table was sticky. Floors are loaded with food and all food counters are messed up.
I own a big food and travel blog + instagram where I not only share the best but also let down restaurants. This place will receive a special spot on there to make sure people know that this location is the biggest shame to The traditional...
Read moreDimassi's Mediterranean Buffet has quickly become my go-to spot for a satisfying and scrumptious Mediterranean meal. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, the friendly and attentive staff, and the tempting aroma of authentic Mediterranean cuisine. You can go straight to the buffet or order off the menu. I also grab to-go orders and get it delivered regularly!
But what truly sets Dimassi's apart is their mind-blowing hummus. As a hummus connoisseur, I can confidently say that this super creamy, velvety hummus is the best I've ever had. Each bite is bursting with rich, earthy flavors that leave me craving more.
