TWO STARS FOR THE NEW TIPPING POLICY-Just ordered on-line and it didn't go smoothly because when I finished and sent the order my internet was off so I had to do it all over again because it said there was an error to my order. It takes me about 10 minutes to order again, no biggy right? Wrong! They were quick and the pizza was pretty good the first couple of bites, but then.........the bell rings again and it's Dominos, same driver saying "Dominos" when I ask who it is. I say, "Is there a problem?" He says, " Noa speaka da Englase. 5 minutes later I'm on the guys cell phone with I guess the night manager {fast talker} explaining I already have my pizza and don't understand what the guy wants. Well they had made my order twice because I guess the first order went through some how on the computer. It was a weird pizza combination and I can't believe they didn't call to verify I actually wanted the same order all over again. Although they both were what seemed to be nice, they were both hard to understand and I think he wants me to call in a couple of days and order again. I'm like What? Gonna have to make sure I didn't get charged twice on my card. Hope it all goes smoother for you. By the way [pizza was cold] when I got back to it. I do order from here quite often and it's usually just fine. I'd say 4 star most of the time but the two star today is to show my dislike for this new policy-tip $10,00 or your pizza won't be eligible for any points towards a free pizza. I received ZERO pts. for my 30.00 order because I didn't put the tip on my card, but rather gave it to the driver himself. Couldn't and can't believe that I saw that. Since when does a company bleed their customers for employee tips? The people who need a free pizza once in awhile, for budgets sake, are the ones that can't afford to tip $10.00 every time. If it's still like that in a few weeks I'm going to the competition, whom I've already gotten 2 XL pizzas from for free on their reward system, and won't be coming back here. TIPPING IS A REWARD BASED ON THE SERVICE YOU RECEIVE AND IT IS NOT MANDATORY At least it shouldn't be! 5 star restaurants get away with doing this only because their wait staff is intensely trained to deliver a flawless dining experience. I don't think Dominos can say that! At least SOME ENGLISH should be spoken by the delivery person. People will have the occasional question and what if my order was incorrect? Just sayin! Oh that's right.....It...
Read moreAs someone who works in customer service, I was floored by the belligerent behavior of the night staff. I actually spoke with my own coworkers about this location, and this sort of rude and unwarranted "customer service" that the N Lamar Domino's offers is apparently a well-known thing - they told me to avoid this location in the future. Quite a rep they've built for themselves. We ordered a simple medium thin-crust pizza at 11:30pm - I understand that workers want to leave asap on closing shifts so I made sure not to make this order large or too close to close - and I want to mention here that we are very poor and earning this free pizza through our rewards points was a huge deal. It was our only meal for the entire day. I got there around 11:50pm and was screamed at by a full grown man - who, I suppose, doesn't know how to manage social interactions with customers - that "WE'RE CLOSED" over and over again. I had to actually interrupt his barrage of yells to let him know that we placed an order twenty minutes ago and I was just picking it up. They then acted like they couldn't find the order and said they didn't have it, to which I repeated I ordered ahead of time. With an annoyed sigh, the worker "found" the pizza which was right where the pizzas always are when they're finished on the counter - and gave it to us, rushed our checkout process, and then actually screamed something after us on our way...
Read moreOrdered a 3 topping pan pizza from here at 10:30pm (not a busy hour). Waited 45 minutes and when it got here the order was completely wrong not too mention it was all sauce and hardly any cheese. Um I didn't ask for extra sauce. I call to get a new pizza and a man put me on hold. After 10 minutes I hang up and call back only to be asked to hold once again I told him "no I've been on hold for 10 minutes and need...." Before I could even finish he places me on hold. I'm livid at this point. My boyfriend calls and gets an immediate answer of "thank you for calling dominos how can I help you?" Why is someone who's just now calling being helped over someone who's been holding for over 10 minutes. Then my boyfriend explains the situation and the guy starts to take our order. He sounds very confused through the whole order and keeps asking my boyfriend to repeat himself. Then he asks if we will be paying cash or card and we tell him "I'm not paying I already paid and y'all gave me the wrong order" and he goes "uuuuuhh okay" we can hear him talking to someone in the background and finally says it'll be there in 20-30 mins. It takes an hour to finally get here. Needless to say WORST experience ever. DO NOT...
