Dunkin' — Restaurant in Austin

I had attempted to order the Strawberry Coconut Refresher through the DD app. When I got in the drive-thru to pick it up, I told the person in the speaker that I was here to pick up an order under (my name). They said to pull up to the window. I watched them struggle for way too long with the vehicle in front of me. I was going to be late for work at this point. At least I get a drink, right? No. I get to the window and am told they ran out of the strawberry flavoring. 😐 I asked, “Can I get a refund, then?” They (understandably) say I need to use the app to do that. Though, they rudely closed the window right after. I then got to work, get on my phone to look at the app. I click that I want to email customer service, but it comes with an error message stating to link my email. Which is already linked. I tried to call DD about my visit today, to ask if maybe I can get a new drink that costs the same (just switch the flavoring since the refreshers have other options). No one answered. I kept trying. My bank account still shows the statement of the purchase to a drink I never received and I can’t get a hold of the store over the phone nor through the app. This is atrocious. I’ll be going inside whenever I get the chance. Hopefully I won’t be pushed aside again? Never coming here after this. DD themselves failed a customer. I’m currently at work unable to immediately go in to fix this myself. Thanks.

UPDATE: I had previously put 1 star, I put it up to 3 because I went into the line and explained to the worker. He kindly remade the drink (although still out of strawberry flavoring, so I went with the blue coconut...

The first thing I need everyone to fully understand and admit to themselves is that we don’t go to Dunkin for consistent iced coffees… we go for the emotional support and the fun randomized coffee color of the day. That is what sets Dunkin apart from other coffee places. I could order the exact same thing 10 times with 5 minutes in between each order and every coffee would come out different. YOU CANT RUSH OR CARBON COPY ART. We all know what we are getting ourselves into when we enter that drive thru line or walk in store. The vibez will let us know what to order and much like when Harry Potter learned about reading tea leaves, we must read the signs that are coffees are telling us! THE SIGNS!!!

Anyway, this particular Dunkin is epic. They all deserve raises. Not a pizza party, not some weird mug or other branded gear… raises. But do feel free to send tshirts, coats, hats, tumblrs , etc to my sister and me. We have been fans since we opened our gooey eyes and saw this odd but magnificent world.

Dear Mrs Dunkin Donuts, please take this seriously and pay them more. Sincerely, Someone who loves how random your coffees and overall product campaigns are.

P.S. Every night my family and pray for 3 hours uninterrupted for you to bring the personal pan pizza back. Please, isn’t life hard enough? BRING IT...
