I live in San Marcos, but Iām working in Austin today so I decided to try something new this morning for breakfast. Iām really not a person who writes reviews, but my experience really upset me. I had heard Einstein bagels was good, but having never been there I needed to look at the menu for a second. I pulled up at the drive thru and the man taking orders was immediately unfriendly, but like I get the struggle so whatever right? I told him I had never been and needed to look at the menu a second (no one was behind me) and he didnāt offer help or anything. Just seemed very impatient and put out. I decided what I wanted, and said I was ready to order Incase he had stopped listening and he said very rudely āready when you areā so I ordered and started pulling up to pay, and the man forgot to turn off his head piece and said āoh my god finallyā on the speaker where I could hear it. I really didnāt feel like I took long enough to warrant this response. I am usually very friendly to fast food workers, but I just quietly paid him, and he started to hand me my coffee and said āoh this was suppose to be caramel but they made mocha you want them to remake it?ā I said no and that Iād just drink this one, I just wanted to leave as quickly as possible as I already felt thoroughly unwelcomed. So, lost star for rudeness and lost star for messing up my coffee, but still 3 stars cause the bagels and coffee, despite being mocha, were very very good. Do yourself a favor and order your Einstein Bros at a different location because this one is not on your side and let me tell you why. This morning I arrived at the drive thru at 10:06am, did not place my actual order until 10:18am (which I had to repeat 3x because the rep couldnāt retain the information or actively listenā¦. Bottled OJ was the said information btw, she kept asking me what size lol). I ordered a turkey sausage and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel with one egg. I received a jalapeƱo cheddar bagel with aioli sauce and felt rushed out of the window and disconnected to the woman operating the drive thru. Please take the time to review what customers ordered before rushing them out of the line to improve your drive thru times. Iāll do my part by double checking before I leave the window but this completely dampened my morning. I want my money refunded but unfortunately that would require going back to the store and i donāt have the capacity to deal with the poor...

They could have been polite and handed me the order in the drive thru since there was no one in line. No extra work for them at all. It would have been kind. When handing me the order they could say, āplease come inside next timeā.
That would have been the correct way to handle it. Instead, when they found out I was delivery driver, (a fellow worker- thatās what manager thinks after all) they immediately turned rude and snapped ācome insideā after I had already been spending precious minutes waiting in the drive thru. I didnāt know I needed to come inside if the drive thru was empty. SO RUDE.
As a delivery driver, I am an independent contractor. I work for myself. As my own boss, I decide what I do. Therefore, I will not be doing anymore orders for this store. No loss for me.

That is not correct. Actually, he works for me. He makes the order and hands it to me so I can deliver it. He doesnāt profit at all from this action but I do. So who is...
